After the adventures in phone land you can have a real entry. Can you believe my memories are down so I couldn't get the UK #, we had to phone New York. However, the bit at the end saying Frank the goat says thanks for the call made it all worthwhile, because Frank!

So yes, we all had a good day yesterday. Corey got lots of new video games and lots of money which means we'll be going out tomorrow so he can spend it. We took some of his friends to see the SpongeBob movie and then onto McDonalds, Corey came too of course ;) Then people came to see us at home later, various family members and friends and we ended the day with a Spongebob cake with nine candles. It was just a relaxed, happy day which really is all he wanted. He saw all your birthday wishes which he enjoyed, so thank you all :)

I ended the day happy too but I don't know if I should admit this here. I sort of, may have joined Ndecent_pleasures, and so did 27 other people this week so no mocking. Okay, if you must just a little ;) Anyway, I may have sat and read through most of the messages last night and I may have found the story that was asked about on popstoryfinders ages ago, where Chris is kidnapped by an old guy who wants him as a son and there's a time out chair and all that stuff. However, the story really didn't live up to it's description because sure he was kidnapped, and there was a time out chair and the kidnapper was a creepy old dude but the ending was terrible. The rest of the guys suddenly turning up disguised as builders to build a balcony and Lance saw Chris' hand and recognised him and he was rescued by them with no explanation why you know, they were actually there. In the space of a few hours I read more torture, mind fuck, breakdown, rape, wailing, crying, scene chewing angst than I had for a long time. I also discovered back then there was a significant amount of stories where Justin raped and abused Chris, which yeah.

Moving on, except I really don't have anything else to say. I could tell you I'm downloading Scooby just now so I can watch JC in it. Or the fact I still have nothing for the Honey challenge, except I do have an idea and it even has a shape in my mind at last but getting a word onto the page? It's not happening. But other than that nothing. I may copy the gorgeous Miss Diva and play with photoshop a while, me and my sad self messing with icons, a cup of coffee and a piece of spongebob cake sounds just perfect.

ndecent pleasures is a yahoo group that was set up for dark nsync stories. Stuff like rape, torture etc. It's where the infamous Justin chasity belt story was found. It's been dead for years now, just a dusty echo of past darkfic which I went rooting around in last night. You're not missing anything at all unless you have a hidden darkfic kink I didn't know about

Tell me about it. There were lots of them and you have to think when these were being written Justin would have been in his late teens/early twenties. So where they got the rapist thing from I don't know.

You know that's a valid question.

Some of that stuff I was reading last night was done purely for shock value. Lets have Joey rape Chris on the two man bus, give no explanations as to why except Joey wants some ass and end it with them on the way to being friends again. That's darkfic for the sake of it.

I'm open to anything if the writer can convince me it could happen but most of the stories on that group didn't do that at all. I like my darkfic to be tension filled, where I'm hurrying to read the next word because I need to know what's going to happen.

In that regard those stories failed at being darkfic, maybe they should be classed as car crash fics, stories where you can't look away even though you want to.
