I was online much less this weekend because James and I have been out, sort of celebrating our anniversary. We don't make a big deal of it and use the day we met as that's the most important to us but it's nice to spend some time together, and that meant cut down internet time. So thirteen years today I met James at a dodgy nightclub. He bought me a pink kangaroo, we danced to the music man and I've never managed to get rid of him since *g* Yesterday we went out for dinner and took Corey and mam too. It was actually a dinner that Corey had won in a competition so cost us nothing which was even better. They had some gorgeous looking cakes you could pick yourself, so many varieties and cream trifles, but for the people playing along, James and I had fruit salad.
It was a nice weekend, apart from wanting to bang mam and Kayleigh's heads together that is, because just, grrr.
Today has been spent staring at Word *cries* and changing my Trickyfish icon, so yeah, GIP.
Oh hey, I've just had some flowers delivered :)
I've seen Nsync a lot on tv this weekend. I was at mam's yesterday and Justin had a special on Kiss which showed all his videos including all the Nsync ones. Kay was watching with me and I wanted to disown her so many times for the cracks she was making. That Justin and JC were the only ones with any talent and all that crap. She got the dog's ball thrown off her head when she started to diss Joey, because just no. Then MTV had one of the quick specials about movie facts, the kind of thing that's broadcast between shows and they were talking how Nsync were cut out of the Star Wars movie because of terrible fan reaction. Which was bad enough but then they had a small bit of JC saying how they ended up on the cutting room floor and introduced him with some crap like, this isn't Justin so you'll not know him. Or something like that, I was bloody annoyed whatever it was.
Okay, moving on. The desktop meme. You'll have seen it all over by now I bet, so I'll show you mine if you show me yours ;) Mine's behind the cut and I suspect it's familiar to a few people *g*

AND YAY to anniversaries. Funny how the men latch on to us and never let go, eh? We'll be celebrating 13 years married this fall... Um. 17 years together total a week or two before that.

Justin's always had the special something that would make him a mainstream star, but that doesn't mean he has the most talent by a long shot. It annoys me so much, JC and Justin are the frontmen sure, but without the others the sound would be so much less. Chris at the top, Lance at the bottom, Joey threading them all together, together they make magic, all five of them, and I'm preaching to the choir so will just shut up now.
Men know when they're onto a good thing I think *g* Congratulations to you too!

I totally agree with you about Justin not being the best singer, but he's got that presence that'll always make him the most popular I think. You know he's not first on my list but when I watch him in footage, and especially when he gives that smile I just...whoa!

AJ does a lot of those, especially in the spring and summer. Out in the sand, people gathering around and watching. Kevin smiles. He says its a metaphor for the sexual relations that go unspoken in society.
I suppose that means that whoever gets stabbed or falls down first is on bottom, then, JC jokes.
You never know, with that guy, Kevin grins. You shouldn't keep him waiting. It's gonna take a while just getting over there in the first place.
JC puts his cup down, kisses Kevin on the cheek, and gets going. Twenty minutes later, he's in the practice room with AJ.
What's up? JC asks.
I got something, AJ says, looking happy. He goes off to another room.
Is it safe to talk here? JC asks.
No. It's safer in my room, I've already pulsed there. AJ nods.
This better not be a ply to get into my pants, Mr. There's Live Amunition in my pocket. JC jokes, as AJ leads him out of the practice room and down the hall.
Nah, unless you're offering. AJ grins.
I'm not. JC states, plainly.
Damn. AJ teases. I mean, don't get me wrong, Justin's a knockout in bed, but you certianly are the muhammed ali of my ass, kid.
JC says nothing as AJ unlocks his door. Mostly because he doesn't know how to reply to something like that.
It turns out that AJ has found a vile of saratonin gas and escape routes from major captials of the world's governmental structures.
The only thing I can think of is that they're going to install fumigators in these places and then figure out ways to set them off after getting their men out of there. AJ sighs.
JC bites his lip, and reserves his judgement. This couild all be a skillful rouse under Kevin's control. He wonders if he should take the bait.
Thanks, JC offers, diplomatically. He agrees with AJ to keep it in a loose floorboard under AJ's practice room. And that's that.
What did he want with you? Kevin asks when JC returns to their room.
Oh, wanted to share with me a move that one of the students made, said it could further help me in my stance. JC sighs.
