In another example of my incredible lameness I went to bed the same time as Corey last night. I didn't intend to but my bed looked so inviting when I took him up that I decided to lie down and read my book for a bit, then woke up when James came to bed hours later. Because I did that all the washing was left on the line too, but at least it didn't rain I suppose.

It's the general election today so James and I voted this morning. Neither Kay or mam voted which is annoying, and is something I'll remind them of next time they complain about the way this country is run. Voting doesn't take long, we were in and out within minutes. If you choose to not use your vote you're giving up your right to complain too. And by not voting, by being complacent and assuming a certain party will win you're opening the door for the minor parties. The BNP has a representative for our area and thinking that voting apathy could give them a foot in the door is horrifying. If you have a vote damn well use it. If you don't like any of the parties spoil your vote but don't just sit on your ass and do nothing.

Moving on, my new bobble heads came yesterday and very fetching they are too, especially Lance in his cow print trousers. As I was unpacking them James announced they were the campest things ever, and I have to agree. But they make me laugh and that's always good.

As I've been battling my computer, gah stupid stupid thing. I've burnt so much footage and still I have no memory left, a quick note on things of interest. First, happy belated birthday to Lance. I hope you and your horns are happy for many years to come. The picture, you know the one I mean I'm sure. I loved it, everything about it and it made me extremely happy :D

I saw this this link that made me laugh and may make you laugh too if you saw Dr Who last week.

Before I go, I have to say this. I have never blackmailed or forced anyone to write TrickC, gently encouraged and suggested maybe, on occasions I may have pointed out how hot it would be if JC pushes Chris against a wall and they have steamy hot sex, but blackmail! I wouldn't even think of such a thing! ;)

Hee! Okay, now I have to get a hold of these somehow. That sounds too good to pass up.

I'm sorry you're having computer woes. Hope you can get it up and running without losing much more. :-(

I'd been looking for the canadian bobbleheads for a long time so when I saw them on E bay I had to get them. They're next to my other set now and look fantastic if I do say so myself *g*

My computer is annoying the hell out of me just now. There's no way I could have used 20 gb of memory in a day but it says I have. Stupid thing.

Is it memory or drive space that you're short on? Because if it's really memory you need, you could delete everything off your PC and it won't help with the memory. Drive space is how much space is on your hard drive that's free, while memory is the RAM, the chips that give the computer brain power to run the programs. And RAM tends to be cheaper nowadays than it used to be.

If you want, you could tell me the model of PC you have, and I could look up what kind of RAM you would need, and where to get it cheaply... Also, I can walk you through finding out how much RAM you have now.

That would make sense if I'd been getting the drive space and memory mixed up, because nothing I'm doing now is helping. My computer is much slower than it was and keeps telling me the virtual memory is low, so any help would be gratefully taken.

I hope this is the model, trying to sort this out is just showing how clueless I am about this stuff.

Thank you.

I voted on my way home from work, there was no other bugger there, 'Cept for the polling people. Took me all of two minutes.

Also, that Daleck Lj, V funny!

Yeah, it took us two minutes too. Walk into an empty hall, hand over the card, vote and walk out. It was that simple.

I loved the Daleck LJ and had to pass on the link. I mean, when you saw him say he'd absorbed the internet didn't the thought that he knew all about slash/fandom go through your mind too? ;)

I still love that icon so much.

Good for you for voting! Even if other people don't do their civic duty.

You know, when I read that you were blackmailing people for TrickC, I was a bit surprised, but I figured, hey, anything for more hot TrickC in the world, so I wasn't too bothered by your methods. ;)

I just think there's no excuse not to vote. It's not as if it's difficult or anything. Which you'd think it was the way some people go on.

But I said I wasn't blackmailing people! I'm shocked that people would think I'd stoop that low ;)

And I aggree 100% about the voting thing. It pisses me off when people take it for granted here in the states too. It might have made all the difference in the world the last election...and the one before....:|

I'm so shocked you only have the JC one! I was lucky to find them being sold as a set quite cheap as I really do like the freaky things, though Joey and his wide grin looks very scary when you look at him from below. The wide stare. The insane grin. That man isn't right I tell you.

I totally agree, and what gets me is the people that don't vote will complain that things don't change, and that's so wrong. If you want things to change you have to do something about it. It annoys me, it really does.

You? Blackmailing people to write TrickC? Never! ;-)

You know I could get offended that you all think I'd do things like that ;)
