Corey broke up from school yesterday for six weeks. Which brings mixed feelings of YAY! and OMG, no!

While he was having a toy day at school I had a hospital appointment to doppler my legs. Which consisted of me having to lie totally flat for half an hour before my circulation was checked out. Let me tell you lying like that and having people talk to you is weird, but as usual the ladies there were great, they even asked if I wanted to listen to music as I lay there. Of course I said yes, at which point she suggested Steps and Boyzone. I guess I just throw off pop/boyband vibes *g* Anyway, it turned out the only CDs they could find were a Christmas album and pan pipe moods, which no. So I lay listening to the radio and tried not to fall asleep. Skipping forward, my circulations is normal, which yay! It's not often I'm normal. Apparently it's a good thing as she was concerned as my feet tend to be blue at times. Honestly, the staff at that place couldn't be nicer. Congratulating me for the weight I'd lost and even mentioning that I have really good skin on my face now, and you know I'm shallow and compliments like that always make me smile.

Night time we headed off to the beach to see some of the tall ships coming in ready for the tall ship festival next week. They're so beautiful, looking at them in full sale is just amazing and we spent some time just watching. And in my case remembering Rhys' Song of the Sea. The SiL, MiL and niece came with us too and we just had a relaxed lovely evening. That was until I got home to watch Big Brother and just why!? WHY!?

Now I go to sit and think about the top 5 trickc stories because some people are mean and love to cause me stress. Because how am I supposed to pick!? While I do that you should look at my new icon. I was going to do one of the red shirt of incredible hotness but just couldn't do it justice. It's to cry I tell you.

Good to hear about the leg, being normal has a nice ring to it. Every now and then, that is lol And hail to kind and gentle staff!

The ships sound gorgeous, yeah, did you take pictures by any chance?

I'm sorry they didn't have any decent music for you, but it's great you are doing so well!

*twirls you*

I love all the new Chris icons! The world needs more Chris icons! And TrickC ones too!

I know, it was to cry not having any decent music. Though like James said it was just as well. I was supposed to be calm after all, if they'd have had Nsync any calmness would have gone ;)

YES! There must be many Chris icons, every icon should feature a Chris!

Aww, toy days at school...that makes me feel all nostalgic.

I'm headed up to see the tall ships festival over the next couple of days and I'm really looking forward to it - so thank you for a sneaky preview.

Normal is over-rated but I glad that your circulation is okay nonetheless :-) .
And I really like the icon!

A very nice icon. I love the colouring. And yay! for the normal circulation. (In my experience nurses and physiotherapists are almost the only ones who really care about the patiens and know what they're talking about!)

Tall ships, oohh! They're so majestic under sail. And now I want to re-read Songs of the Sea (http://www.juppy.org/santa/stories.php?ForAuthorID=96&Year=2004). I haven't read it since Christmas.

Thank you :)

I have to agree with you about nurses ( I've never had dealings with physiotherapists ) the ones I see are so caring and in many cases know more than the doctors.

The tall ships really are majestic. I was sitting and my mind was totally wandering to Songs of the Sea which is such a great story. I had to re read it as soon as I came home that day *g*

I'm glad that your circulation is normal. That must be quite a relief for you.

Enjoy the tall ships... they visited the Isle of Man during our TT festival, they are an amazing sight ^_^!

It really is. I'm dealing with enough in terms of my legs without adding circulation problems too, so you know being normal was quite the relief *g*

I'm looking forward to seeing all the ships together. I've seen some of the advance ones and they're wonderful, I imagine the whole fleet will be mind blowing.
