Imagine if you're reading the old friendslist and see someone reccing one of your stories. Do you thank them in comments or just pass by? How about if you see the rec in comments, do you say thanks then or is that too much? Like you're pushing your way into a conversation that has nothing to do with you. I'm just wondering about the nettiquette about these things, because it seems wrong not to say thank you but at the same time, hello, egotistical or what.

Moving on, I've been playing in fic_requests today and figured it was time to give something back to the comm, so I wrote Choey which is here.

Following a link from seiyaharris I've just been playing at Just Letters, where I was amused when my Nsync rules turned to Nsync suck to Nsync fuck and ended with Nsync fuck boys. Ahem, yes. I just wish people would stop pinching my bloody letters!

I always thank people when I see them rec my stuff in posts, it seems wrong not to you know? It's the comment thing that got me because, I don't know. It just seems rude, like you're barging into a conversation. Yet at the same time not saying anything feels wrong too.

I'm probably overthinking this and will just say thanks always from now on :)

Does my reply mean I'm barging in on this conversation too? :) But seriously, that's the beauty (in most cases) of threaded replies. Anyone can jump in with their own views. If they wanted a truly private, one-on-one conversation, they could have used email/aim.

You know you bring up a very good point because it doesn't bother me in the slightest if people join in on a conversation I'm having, in fact quite the opposite. Which suggests I'm just being silly worrying about doing the same.

Justletters is this site which is nothing but letters on a page, like magnetic letters on an online fridge that browsers can move around to make phrases. Problem is getting the letters is a free for all, which is why I ended with the sucking fucking thing. But yes, the order is strange.

I've seen you recced in a few places which is as well you should be. Your stories are just gorgeous.

I think I'd say thanks... I don't actually know, because as far as I know no one rec'd one of my stories in their comments. I think, it only happened once or twice that someone rec'd one of my stories and then I thought it must have been a mistake ;-).

In the front row are Justn and Lance sitting together ( Justin has the white top on, Lance is next to him in the red vest) Then JC is three along kneeling up with the red vest and white t-shirt under.

Chris is standing behind with the checky shorts ( Chris, hmmmmm) and Joey is to the left with a white cap on.
