turpsI finally submitted my remix story, just a little late, and after watching the word count drop as I edited things over and over again. The story was better for losing what it did, but still, my word count!
Yesterday my sister came and said she needed to use Silver to organise a charity night at the club. I let her, despite spending the previous day having to remove a load of tool bars she'd installed while downloading something. I think she checked out the charity things for all of ten minutes, then her and one of her barmaids spent the next four hours taking tests, you know, like the ones that go round LJ as memes. I now know more about Kayleigh's sex life than I ever wanted to know.
Other than that, I've been watching a load of tv. After many people telling me how good it is, I finally pushed past my issues and watched Bones, and I love it. I've mainlined multiple episodes in the last few days and still need more. I should have given it a try ages ago, but man, she has Brennan's name and no one should have that! He's unique and lovely and I love him. Sharing names shouldn't be an option. Okay, silly issues but they're mine. So yes, I like Bones a lot. I've also been watching Magnificent Seven. It's a show I've never actually seen, and it's just started from the beginning here, and it's fun. Also, The Big Easy which was a show I used to watch years ago. I was thrilled to see it was playing again. Now I just want The Young Riders to come back, that would be cool.
People are heading off to Asylum today, the joint Supernatural/Smallville con. I was supposed to be going, but had to drop out because it was a case of either going there or Corey going away with the school for the weekend, and well, he'll never be in the last year of juniors again. More than anything, even seeing Jensen, I was looking forward to meeting some people I've been friends with for years. But, things happen. I hope they all have a blast.
Now though, I need to sew a badge on James' necka. He's joined the scouts as a leader, and man, I'm sure he only did it so I have two lots of badges to sew. They need to be there at 7, if I start now I may just get it done....sigh.
I'm horrendously behind with flist/email/comments. I suck beyond the telling. I know this.

I'm all for that! Though I have finished sewing it on which suggests I may be getting better. I asked Corey if the positioning was right, and he said it was fine, just make sure the tree was pointing up and not down, and dude! Once I sewed a badge on upside down. I didn't know they were supposed to be stars in the sky.
