I have to say happy birthday to one of the most amazing people ever. castalie rocks, it's that simple. She shares my brain on a lot of things, is smart and just plain wonderful.

I forgot to mention on Friday, but I've been down to nopseud's for the weekend. Time watching sparkly footage, On the Line, Red Riding Hood, eating good food, talking slash and crack and just anything and everything under the sun with a bunch of amazing people. It's been a fabulous weekend. Sadly I had to come home early in order to pick Corey up from Scout camp tomorrow morning, so they're all still there, and I'm here....sniff.

I'm waiting for the first giraffe slanting lips story, ladies ;)

It was a great weekend :)

You know, I seriously thought about joining the swap. For a long time. If it wasn't that I'd just finished remix and still had dragons and happyglee to finish I would have totally done it.

I know, there are so many challenges happening at the moment! So don't worry, I totally understand. Besides, I think we got almost as many participants as last year, so it's all good. I was a bit worried because the JuC fandom hasn't been too active this year. For example very little happened on JuC day compared to previous years. But apparently we just need challenges to get people to write these days. :)
