Jul. 23rd, 2007 02:37 pmCan cats get sore throats? Freesia is fine, she's eating, sleeping, doing her business, everything that she always does. Except her meow has deepened over the last few days. It sounds like she's been smoking twenty a day for years.
Last weekend was a busy one. We went to see Transformers, which was awesome! I was amused as Corey was one of only a handful of kids in there, and the screen was full, everyone else was pretty much in the twenty to thirty age bracket. But Optimus Prime! Megatron! Bumblebee! So much love!
We also saw Hairspray which was amazing in a very different way. The ending, just whoa! That screen was full too. In fact the cinema was packed out yesterday with lines right along the carpark. We ended up three rows back from the screen for Hairspray, which was neck aching but also cool to see things so huge. Also, the line of girls dancing in the aisle next to us made things even more fun.
I did buy the new Harry Potter, but haven't read it yet. I'm not a mega fan, so I'm saving it for my holiday. Which is less than two weeks away....sigh.
Other than that it's been the beach, yummy sandwiches from Subway. Catching the tail end of a show at South Shields and trying to clear the Sky Plus before we go away. I've an insane amount of shows taping right now. James and I had a Las Vegas marathon, so we've about 50% free now. Of course that doesn't last long when you've got about 4 shows a day taping. Oh, and I seem to be now addicted to NCIS. I swear, I'm going to stop reading my flist when they mention tv. Though it's confusing as I'm watching a few seasons at once. Already I've seen three different women partnering Tony and McGee seems to disappear and appear on a show to show basis.
I've also about 200 Sims Asylum pictures ready to be pulled into a post. I think I'll do that tonight once I've done a few other overdiue online things. All I can say is, someone was a busy boy *g*

Date: 2007-07-23 02:07 pm (UTC)I THINK she can get a sore throat, but is she young? Maybe her "voice is changing"? (hell, I don't know!)

Date: 2007-07-23 02:15 pm (UTC)You and me both! I was sitting and he was suddenly there. Optimus Prime! Eeee!
She's around 3. I don't know much about cats at all to be honest. I'm a bad cat mam.

I'm a bad cat mam.
No, you're not. That's a good question and I'd love to know the answer.

Date: 2007-07-23 03:01 pm (UTC)McGee became a regular in second season. Kate was with the team first and second season, Ziva in all the seasons after that.

Date: 2007-07-23 03:07 pm (UTC)I've been resisting watching for a long time, because man, I watch so much tv. Then Sperrywink posted the Tony/Spenser cross-over and I was intrigued. In a moment of weakness I watched an ep and I was done for....sigh.
Ah, thanks for explaining. Obviously I'm watching the shows in no order what so ever. But I missed McGee when he wasn't in the eps.

Date: 2007-07-23 03:25 pm (UTC)Google thinks your kitty might have a cold, which cats definitely do get. Daniel has one, I think--he about sneezed himself out of the bedroom last night, over and over again, poor thing.
And yay, beach trips and movies, and even more yay (from a purely selfish point of view) more Sims Asylum!! I love your Sims picspams so, so much.

Date: 2007-07-23 04:34 pm (UTC)It was a splendid weekend. Hardly any online time at all, but that didn't matter when there was the ocean and music and being with my boys.

Date: 2007-07-23 04:01 pm (UTC)Transformers was amazing! Vamp was so happy when he heard the sounds when they transform, he said that just because of that, it was worthy ^^ Loved the battle scenes and the Autobots of course, but I can't deny that I loved Hugo Weaving as Megatron's voice *.*

Date: 2007-07-24 06:04 am (UTC)On the other hand, it could also be an imminent hairball. Hairballs can have the ODDEST effects on the cat's voice.
As long as she's drinking plenty and otherwise behaving normally, you have nothing to worry about (other than possibly cleaning up a hairball.) If her behavior changes (most likely she'd become very lethargic, possibly lose appetite/stop drinking) or her nose is warm and dry instead of cold and wet, take her to the vet.

Date: 2007-07-29 12:11 pm (UTC)Ditto, but I'm going to start today because I really don't want to be spoiled for it... as I don't think I would read it if I know what happens!
You've seen Transformers?! *is jealous* We are hopefully going this week ^_^!
