There were a lot of interesting comments on my post about feedback habits. Many with detailed replies, many of them with totally different view points. I need to finish replying, but I'd encourage you to go take a look if you've ever thought about the feedback issue.
I've spent part of today looking for good Robin Hood slash. The fandom, what little there is of it, is full of Mary Sue fics, which sucks. All I want is some Will sexin' amongst the trees. Is that so difficult? Even my beloved Pit Of Voles let me down.
and man, that family is cursed. I'm going to start watching with hankie at the ready. Seeing the kids taken from Sarah last week killed me, then Kitty miscarried this week, and Justin is falling deeper into drug addiction, and Tommy is having an affair, and poor Kevin is depressed. Though he has Scotty, that has to cheer anyone up. It's one thing after another, but it does show that despite her faults, Nora will always be there for her kids. She's an awesome mom.
We're heading off to Asda in a few minutes. I think I'll get some chocolate milk. It's a chocolate milk kind of day.

http://del.icio.us/seiyaharris/rh but really, it's a show crying out for a fandom!

Date: 2007-11-06 08:42 pm (UTC)The lack of slash for the show is disgraceful. It's so obvious too, pretty boys living together. It's crying out for fic
Thank you!

Date: 2007-11-06 08:38 pm (UTC)I don't know where you watched to, but Joe and Sarah are getting a divorce, started by the whole him kissing Rebecca thing, but now he's with his ex wife.
He applied for full custody, and because he's been a house husband all this time, and Sarah is working full time, he was able to get to everyone before her. People like the kid's teachers, doctors etc, and they all gave him character references. At court the judge decided Joe should get full custody, and Sarah see the kids two weekends a month.
The scene where they left was heartbreaking.

Date: 2007-11-07 07:26 am (UTC)While I'm disappointed the fandom isn't bigger, seeing there's good fic being written gives me hope.
Love the icon too!
