Last week James promised some of his scouts copies of a movie he'd taken to camp. Yesterday I had to actually burn those copies. I wouldn't mind but Nero kills my computer, so I tend to burn my shows at night. Sadly I'd forgotten he'd asked me to do these and I had to do them all at once. A time suck that wasn't helped when Kay was up here for hours too. Though she's getting her own broadband in on Monday, which yay! No more giving up my computer for full afternoons. Of course I may never see her again.

Mind you, it was probably a good thing I was offline as I don't think my brain was switched on. When I joined up for Make the Yuletide Gay¹, it was only after being told off by the red writing multiple times that it clicked that 100 characters does not mean 100 words. I managed in the end, though what I should have written was. Yes, that is the crossover pairing I want. It's not a joke!

Then last night I set off Nero to burn a disc, and didn't put a disc in to burn. It's been a long week.

Of the good. audrarose has written me Pete/Mikey! And it's awesome and happy and gorgeous, and I hope this theme of people writing me Pete/Mikey goes on forever! Go check it out. Awake and Unafraid

James and Corey have just gone for another camp. This time they're taking the Beavers to a castle then staying at the scout hut overnight. So it's just me and the furry family again. I see fic reading and show watching in my future. But no Pushing Daisies this week? That is so wrong.

It's been one of those weeks where things just don't go right. Nothing bad, just, annoying really. Still, a night of fannish indulgence does a person good.
