I've just spent a long time being frustrated that the email identity wouldn't change from James' to mine. I've only just realised it's been on mine all the time, just James has sent a few mails using my identity. It's been a long day, man.
My MiL is in the hospital with heart problems. She called early this morning saying she felt really unwell and was pretty much crying down the phone. She'd called her own doctors and they said she couldn't have an appointment, so my BiL was going to take her to the walk in centre. James basically said screw that, get her to ER; now.
He ended up arguing with the SiL because apparently she was in selfish bitch mode, and continued to be so all day, but eventually MiL got to hospital where they admitted her. We drove through, spent some time waiting with my FiL, then had to go to James' hospital appointment. Which was the only silver lining of this whole day, that we needed to be at the hospital anyway.
James' doctor was cool. He was friendly and actually made sure both James and I knew what he was saying. He's going to rule out nerve damage first. Apparently you have two main nerves that go to your fingers, and with James' elbows and wrists being fused they may be getting blocked somehow. So he'll have tests for that, and if those are clear they'll start on the actual muscular and bone construction of his hand. Hopefully they'll get an appointment out soon as I really don't like seeing him hurt so much.
From there it was back to the ER, then take the FiL home so he could pack a case for the MiL, back to the hospital for a while, then home for Corey coming in, homework and tea, then back for visiting hours.
At least when James goes for his scan on Friday we won't have to go far to visit. That has to be a bright side.
