Dec. 2nd, 2007 12:08 pmCatching up. My MiL is home, which is good. Especially as she was in a side room with only two visitors allowed at a time. As we go around in a three, it meant Corey and I spent a lot of time hanging out at the hospital cafe.
It was James' birthday yesterday, he's as old as me now, for a few months anyway. *g* My SiL didn't send him a card, neither did my sister or brother, which has annoyed me, especially Kayleigh. James goes out of his way to drive her places she needs to go, picking her up from Newcastle at 2am often, and she couldn't even be bothered to buy a card or send a text saying happy birthday. As for the SiL, she continues to show what how self centred she is.
Anyway. Happier things. As every year, the 1st is when we decorate the house for Christmas, and it looks so lovely now. The tree is gorgeous and we have streamers and snow flakes hanging from the ceiling. I also got my first Christmas card of the season yesterday. Once we finished that we went to the cinema to see Fred Claus. I love Christmas movies so much it's insane. So I enjoyed the film a lot. Sadly James went to the disabled toilet and someone had left water splashed all over, so he fell on the floor and hurt his back. Which yeah, give the man some good luck please.
On the subject of James, he's been signed off work until January, and went to have a CT scan on Friday, so hopefully they'll know what's up with the headaches he's been getting.
Of the good. I got wonderful mail yesterday! Thank you so much, Pen! You're made of awesome :D *sends love*
We're taking nanna to the Metrocenter this afternoon. She can't actually walk that far so it'll be a case of taking her to the nearest seats so she can look at the decorations and people watch. Which means I really should get dressed, I've been enjoying slobbing around in my nighty this morning.
Okay, I really need to get ready now. Corey just came in from rugby practice, looking like a drowned rat. Now he's showered and warm, it has to be a sign to go.
