I've just had a Subway sandwich for dinner, and it was made of fail. Too soggy and the bread was all floppy and my t-shirt is covered in chilli sauce. Fail Subway. Fail!

I've been adding some stuff to pop_newsletter and there are only two entries in the pictures section. It was pretty sparse last week too. This will not do! I declare this week unofficial pop picspam week. I know there's no new photos around, but dust off your old favourites and post them. Not the ones you always post, but others that you love. For example, I'm sure a huge majority of my flist know what my favourite pictures are, so I' may surprise you all and post some Joey. Because Joey rocks!

Let's see if we can get lots of picture entries for this time next week.

It's been interesting to read the comments about The M and G Thing. Some people see it as gen, others as cest, and that's so cool. Knowing that people read and put their own slant and thoughts about something you've wrote.

I need to go out as soon as Corey comes home from maths club, to the post office then grocery shopping. I don't want to, my leg is aching so I'm doing the preventative thing with double antibiotics and hope that stops anything nasty in its tracks. Still, at least we get to go in our car as we picked it up first thing this morning. Flash, I missed you!

I've had that problem too, but if you tell them to toast it twice as long as usual it might help at least a bit. :-)

Too bad I can't find my picture CDs...but I do have some uploaded already...I'll see what I can come up with. :-)

I think the problem with this sandwich was it was absolutely dripping with sauce, which of course seeped through the bread, very nasty. But I'll keep your tip in mind :)

It's hit and miss with Subway for me.

When they first opened up here James bought me a sandwich, and it was the most disgusting thing ever. Then I gave them another try ages later and decided some were okay. I may have changed my mind again though.

You should totally do a Timberlake picspam! That would be awesome.

That is interesting about the stories. I responded to the pain and loneliness and didn't think I categorized it. But I guess gen.

Question for you... In both of your stories Gerard is the more the lost one. I'm always interested in the WHY behind things. So, why Gerard? Just cause he's prettier? *wink*

Oh, questions. Let me learn you in the way of the Way brothers :D

Gerard being lost is actually canon. He's been open about his problems, how he spent a lot of time abusing alcohol and prescription drugs, add in illegal drugs too and once he nearly died. There's also a battle with deep ongoing depression and well, you get the picture. But that time he nearly died he decided enough was enough, and quit, everything, and has been clean ever since.

Mikey also has problems with depression, and while they were recording their last album had a really bad time that led to him having to leave the band for a while. He also had a drink problem, one he admitted was worse than Gerard's at times.

I have to admit, their relationship fascinated me. How hard it must have been for Mikey watching his big brother going through that? Especially with his own problems being so similar. They're incredibly close and have gone on to be so successful. I just think it's great.

It also makes me wonder about Nsync, and especially Chris. He's hinted at how things got, if boybands were allowed to be more open, would he be telling all in articles like that?

Also. MIKEY IS THE PRETTIEST WAY OF ALL!

and I've always wondered about NSYNC. The pain that had to have gone on behind the scene. Joey's the only one that 'seems' to have come out unscathed.

Yeah, I agree with you, Joey seems the most well adjusted of them all.

The boyband label has to be a curse in many ways. I mean, they were supposed to be so clean cut, whiter than white. It had to be a huge burden to carry. I'm sure they could all reveal some shocking things, but I doubt they will. The whole mindset of the boyband is so different to groups like MCR.

I was thinking about the cest thing while I read the story and to me it felt like there were things Mikey felt for Gerard that he never articulated even to himself but I don't know if I would classify the story as cest. I mean, we never got to know what Gerard felt and I think that to my mind it should at least be mutual UST to be classified as cest :-)

Yep. I agree with you, things can't be cest if it's one sided, and while I think there was attraction there, it was more of an unconcious thing that was twisted with other emotions.
