Does anyone know of a good torrent/download of a mah jong (sp?) game? James wants one, but we're striking out torrent wise.
Do you know what happy making thing occurred today?! I checked email and Josh has finished episode 2 of my MX season! This gives me so much glee you don't even know! I haven't even read it yet because I'm flitting around doing stuff. But new MX story! This makes me so happy! Go check it out here
James isn't feeling too well today, so we're staying in. Which is good in a way as I have a pile of ironing that's getting bigger by the day, which included Corey's uniform which needs doing for tomorrow. So I'll need to do that later, and I have vege mince to make for tea, and a new MX story to read!
But what I want to talk about first is hands. I often say that I'd rather write people holding hands than having sex. Which is true, because man, I hate writing sex. But also, I think hand holding is such a lovely thing, and also damn hot in certain circumstances. I'm not even sure why, just the casual togetherness nature of it I suppose. It just gets me. You know what else I really like? When you can see that lovely expanse of collar bone or neck and shoulder join when a shirt or t-shirt is loose. That hint that makes you want to slide your fingers into that space. I also like guys in baggy clothes, show me a shirt cuff that's trailing over the fingers and I'm gone, and apparently the nice curve of a calf.
So tell me yours? What things do you find hot? Not the normal like blue eyes or dark hair, but the more unusual things. Tell me anything, dude, I freely admit to finding Chris' braces hot, I won't judge you!
ETA: Okay, so
nopseud has just commented with a trickyfish ficlet that killed me dead! Dead I tell you! You need to go read, right now.
Other than that, please carry on discussing amongst yourself the hotness of various things. I'll just sit here and melt into a puddle of goo.

I'll just go and think on them a while.

Date: 2008-02-24 03:25 pm (UTC)I'm not really sure about not normal things I find sexy. There are so many things... the entire body is sexy to me in its complexity. Most are similar to yours... The crook where neck meets shoulder, the notch at the base of the neck where the sternum starts, the clavicle, the small of the back where swim shorts lay, the hand covered in an open cuffed sleeve like in my icon.
The rubbing of a hand over the back of a tired neck (drops me when Carson does it), Belly buttons just send me, leather strap necklaces on guys, a loose tie, rolled up sleeves...
So many things.
I don't know about unusual things though...

Date: 2008-02-24 04:55 pm (UTC)Oh, your list is killing me. the small of the back where swim shorts lay oh hell, yes!
Those all fit what I was getting at. Maybe unusual is the wrong word. I just meant things away from stuff like loving a black hair, or someone tall. You know more obvious stuff.

small, stud earring against a tan. Leather string bracelets.
Meep.

Four hours of sleep was not enough. When the buses had pulled up at the venue, Lance had stumbled out of his bunk with his eyes still closed and grabbed a shirt which had turned out to belong to Joey. Luckily, he could pretty much sleep-walk through the introduction to the venue and meeting the local crew, so his ridiculously baggy shirt and unshaven chin hadn't mattered.
He'd made his escape to the Quiet Room as fast as possible, and he was settling down for a nap on the narrow bed when the door opened. Lance kept his eyes determinedly closed, but a few seconds later the bed dipped as someone sat down.
"Lance. Hey, La-ance."
At least Chris was keeping his voice down. But Lance quickly discovered another problem with the shirt, which was that it gave Chris way too much access. He could ignore fingers over his neck and chest, and even up under the back where it had slipped out of his pants, but when they were followed by kisses on his shoulderand the scratch of beardLance twitched, and batted at Chris.
"Hah! I knew you were awake!"
Lance curled up tighter. "I am not."
"Yes, you are." There was a pause. "Although, you know, that's okay. I'm pretty tired too."
"Liar."
"I am! I was at the same party, remember? Drinking the same cocktails." Chris yawned unconvincingly. "See? Boy, that bed looks comfy."
"There's another bed, Chris. Right over there."
"But I like this one better." Warm fingers slid up the back of his shirt again. "Way, way better."
"Oh, for" Lance shifted back, making space. "Fine. But you're gonna keep still, or I'll kick your ass right out again."
"Absolutely! Ooh, hey...aren't you all nice and warm."
Five minutes later, of course, Chris was tapping again, running arpeggios up and down the line of Lance's collar bone. Lance grabbed hold of his hand, folding his fingers through Chris's.
"Shh. Wanna sleep."
Chris hooked his leg over Lance's, rubbing his bare foot up and down the back of Lance's calf. "Yeah? You sure about that?"
"Totally sure. I'm wiped out."
"Man, it isn't fair for you to go lying around all over the place, all sexy and tempting and shit." Chris sighed, and kissed his temple. "I'll give you an hour, dude. An hour, and then I'm expecting some serious compensation for my, like, superhuman restraint."
"Yeah, you're a regular saint." Chris tried to pull away, and Lance tightened his grip a little. "Sure, Chris. Whatever you want, just so long as I get my nap first."
He felt Chris chuckle, then finally settle in like he really meant it this time. "Man, you're so easy. I love that."
"Mmm." Lance tucked Chris's hand up against his chest, and the cuff of Joey's stupid shirt slipped down over his hand, covering their joined fingers. "I love you too."

It's like all the happiness in the world gathered into one story.
Thank you!

Date: 2008-02-24 05:05 pm (UTC)The nape of the neck--there's something so wonderfully vulnerable about it.
The curve of collarbones and the little notch between them, where the pulse flutters.
The channel of the spine, the small of the back.
A soft, full mouth.
The sharp line of jaw, shadowed with scruff or not.
Long eyelashes. Hoo.
A large, prominent nose. Yeah, crazy, I know. But it does.
Slim hands with long fingers. Also, oddly, small hands.
Freckles, sometimes.
Green eyes or hazel eyes for men, simply because you don't see them that often.
Bare feet beneath jeans (yeah, I know that's been mentioned, but *still*).
Boxers, or boxer-briefs. Or, commando beneath button-fly jeans.
Scent. Not colognes, but the natural scent of skin, fresh sweat, a background note of soap. Or the sleep-warm scent on wakening.
Laugh lines and crow's feet, a touch of silver in hair.
Broad shoulders and the curve of strong biceps. Also, strong thighs.
A low or husky voice. Combine the two, and HOO.
A little half-smile, where only one corner of the mouth lifts.
*laughs* I could go on a long time, but that's probably enough.

Date: 2008-02-24 07:30 pm (UTC)Long lashes kill me too, and the half smile. The combination is a killer!

Date: 2008-02-24 05:09 pm (UTC)Easier to identify is the 'normal' stuff I don't find attractive... blue eyes, that groin muscle line everyone seems to just drool over, dressed up men [ there are exceptions],eyeliner [though that translates to women, too. I'm not a make-up fan at all], black clothing, any 'delicate' bones.... collar bones, etc...

Date: 2008-02-24 07:28 pm (UTC)I love open smiles too. You mean sweat after hard work, yes? Not the kind written about in sex scenes.
I'm enjoying these lists so much. It just shows that everything is attractive when seen through the right eyes.

Date: 2008-02-24 05:28 pm (UTC)I find backs hot. A beautiful back is much more interesting to me than the chest. Especially if it's not quite straight but there's a curve to it, and maybe a slight indent where the spine is. Mmm... And I think spooning is hot. Spooning while having sex would be the best, of course, but just any position or situation where one has his back to the other's chest, being held like that, is great.

Date: 2008-02-24 07:16 pm (UTC)Wow. Your talk about backs just made me shiver. This post, I swear, it's made of win.

I think that's a very valid point. Sometimes you just don't know, it's the overall package at the time.

Date: 2008-02-24 07:41 pm (UTC)Shoulders and chests (not too muscle-y, Kevin's a very good example of what I like)
Sturdy and solid bodies (not thin and willowy or muscle-y and ripped, just nicely solid with some meat on them)
Tattoos and piercings
But the kind of guy I find hot varies enormously and none of the above is really an essential ingredient. *contemplates the differences between Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, Bob Bryar, Frank Iero, and Gerard Way*

That's so true. I mean, Mikey and Chris aren't physically alike at all, yet I find them both hot like burning.

Glimpses of the tantalising curve between neck and shoulders that just begs to be bitten, licked and touched so you can watch the tiny shivers travel up the nape of the neck into the softness of the hairline.
The curve on women between waist and hip, especially if it's all swoopy and lush with a hint of muscle beneath it.
Arm or back muscles that you can see move, not bulging or posing muscles, but ones built by strength and competence.
An off-beat, slightly inappropriate sense of humour and ability to laugh at themselves.

What I don't like is too much muscle (like beefcake). A sporty body is fine, but having muscles just for showing off is not hot.

Date: 2008-02-25 07:28 pm (UTC)Smiles are great, and yes, I love hand-holding a lot.
I agree about too much muscle too. It gets to a point where too much is a turn off.
