I read the bandom big bang summaries this morning, and man. *wants*

Next year I'm so joining that challenge.

In other gleeful news. The story I mentioned yesterday? There's been a new part posted and it entertained me so much.

The JuC story swap challenge are open to join. So go, do that!

Corey and James had a wonderful time camping, though when I was sorting out Corey's rucksack I found all his undies were untouched. I tell you, I have visions of him coming back from France without once touching soap or clean underwear. He also came back with a nasty rash over both his legs. It's fading now but it looks like he brushed through something that didn't agree with his skin at all.

ETA: I've just watched the X Files movie trailer and man, I still get the chills hearing the theme music. I am so excited for this, also so nervous, because it could be screwed up so badly.

At least Corey can claim the excuse of youth. When Dad returned home from his last major European holiday his clothes were STIFF because he'd washed them in shampoo and hadn't bothered to rinse them properly. God knows how long he'd been wearing them like that o.O

I read through all the big bang summaries this morning too and I suspect that there are many more readable stories among them than what those summaries indicated because so many of them sounded like the most terrible badfic! I guess it's just more proof of how incredibly easy it is to make even the best story sound like badfic by writing the summary in the wrong way :-)

I was a little suprised at how relatively few Gerard pairings there were among the My Chem stories.

The big bang summaries are much in the way of glee making. So many Ryan/Jon fics! And I saw a Mikey/Frank! YAY!

Next year I'm so joining that challenge.
