Corey's teacher held a dvd and pizza night as an end of term treat for his class. She spent over £80 on pizzas alone. I hope the school kicks in some money because, ouch.

I'm writing two stories right now. One popslash, one Panic, and they're so different that it's quite the experience changing between the two. Which leads nicely to this.

In 2006 I had posted a ficlet that I think was something for fic_requests Where Chris has a child but has to leave her behind, not mpreg btw It was private but I've changed that if you're a masochist and want to read.

In 2005 I didn't post as I was at nopseuds house. But I did the next day Two years on and I still get all twisty in my stomach when I'm meeting people, but not as much thankfully.

In 2004 it seemed we'd tried to go to the kite festival but it was rained off. I was also on a ficlet kick

In 2003 I was kicking off about something on one of the Paris/Kim lists, and also talking about Sin Cities, a show I still watch today. Specifically about how icky hooks through skin are. Two of my The Sentinel stories had also been recommended for a TS gen archive

I didn't get my journal until the October the year before that.

It's a nice example of my fannish timeline. The Sentinel and Voyager at the beginning, then onto purely popslash, until this year when I'm dividing my time between popslash and bandom.

It's More Joy Day I'm going to try and think what I can do to bring joy. an epic Mikeyway picspam would fit the bill I feel. I sort of have an idea, we'll see how it goes.

I was never in the Voyager fandom, but I was a huge Vayager fan and was very Paris/Kim just by myself.

Sparkly Glee - it was so much fun!!

I remember reading about your sparkly get-together at nopseud's and thinking it sounded so much fun and wishing that I could meet you all someday and I did! Though I didn't know that then of course :-)

Panic story!! Feel free to share more details, I'm all a quiver with excitement over here! *g*

We always seem to be on the same wavelength story-wise. First Mikey and MCR and then Panic. It's a good thing.

You did! It's funny, there's a few people from that challenge I've got to know much better since then. It seems like I've known you much longer than a year.

Yes! Panic. Well, it's early days Spencer/Ryan, with Spencer realising he's got feelings for his best friend. Which knocks him off balance a little, because it's Ryan. Ryan the cam whore skinny freak and suddenly Spencer's taking notice of things like Ryan's hips, and how when he wakes in the morning his hair is all mussed and his mouth slightly open.

Then it goes onto a series of firsts as Spencer comes to terms with things. First time he touches Ryan, when he's asleep so Spencer feel like the biggest pervert alive, though all he did was barely touch his finger tip to Ryan's exposed belly. First time they hold hands, which okay, is when Ryan's messed up and more Spencer holding on and not letting him go. Then an awkward talk when Spencer's trying to tell Ryan he thinks he may be bi, and he's all confused but Ryan's Ryan and isn't comforting at all. Then there's a date where Spencer asked but he's not even sure if Ryan knows that's what it is at all. First time they're mistaken for a couple, because they're casually sharing one soda and leaning in each others space and then first kiss of course. When Spencer is still a little off balance and Ryan all Ryanish, but still, it works.

Of course it needs filling in, but that's the bare bones *g*

It's an awesome thing!

It does feel like more than a year! You've certainly added a lot of warmth and liveliness to my friendslist, so I'm glad you're here now.

OMG!! Early days, baby-faced Spencer/Ryan is so delicious! I love them to tears, I can't even begin to explain all the ways. With the belly-touching and awkward talking and just, everything. And, of course, Ryan would be all Ryanish and clueless and possibly distracted by the shiny tha tis Brendon. Ryan strikes me a s a very distractable by shiny kind of guy. Of course, he wouldn't see Spencer standing there longingly in front of him. Spencer's too familiar and comfortable.

Thank you for sharing the bare bones, it made me so happy. And it's inspiring for my own Panic story. We just got out of work early, so hopefully I will settle down and write this afternoon.
