Fannish things.

Now I know everyone will know about bittybang, the pop fandom's big bang challenge. So how many of you awesome people have joined?

I've been asked if I'm joining and seriously thought about doing so, but I'm not. I need some deadline free time I will be cheering everyone on though because the thought of so many new long stories is giving me glee.

I did get my remix story submitted, on time even. And that's the extent of my fannish involvement lately.

Okay, so James has been emailing me from hospital. He sent me one asking what I was up to and I told him I was checking the flist and had just read a waycest fic. This is what I got back.

wont see doctor today. just had some soup and 2 triangles of tuna sarnies. whhat happened to mcr did they turn in to ardvarks with long tongues so can lick nice and deep

I don't even know, man.

Eta: I'm horribly behind and no doubt will continue to be so for a while. Sorry.

It is a hard decision. I've always wanted to try and do big bang too. Oh well, there's always next year. But if you do decide to join, you know I'll be supporting you all the way.

My vacation is going great, although I am all movie-d out, not too surprisingly. I saw the equivalent of 8 movies in 3 days.

Today is the day I get my oil changed and my eyes examined, but that isn't until the afternoon. Hopefully this morning I will get some editing on the Spencer/Spencer story done and maybe some cleaning done.

It's nice not having to fit work into my schedule.

I'm trying to clear my plate and just focus on llamas, JuC swap, and then the big fic. I expect I'll need lots of poking to keep on track (maybe nopseud will have to threaten more puppies).

Y'know, I honestly considered it...but like you, I need some deadline-free writing time. (And I do still have deadlines, technically, since I have two Sweet Charity stories still to be done.) Plus, dude. I just wrote FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND WORDS. My brain still hurts, kind of. o_O

There were so many challenges this year that we decided to put sparkly glee back until the autumn, then bitty bang was launched so I'm not sure what's happening now.
