Another two chapters of the story I've been mentioning were linked to. I read them both but got so angry at something in one I had to sit and remind myself this was a story and just let it go already.

I was at del.icio.us this morning, and looked myself up, as you do. Then read so many descriptions using sweet and schmoopy. Which reminds me of my SeSa story three years ago, nopseud was beta reading and she kept sending me files back with remarks about Justin acting like a little girl. Which was actually true and I've tried to stop but the sweetness is obviously seeping in. I'll need to do another story like Tints, no schmoop at all. Just pain and angst and woe.

Thinking of which. I went to bed early last night because it's much cooler up there. I was reading in front of the fan and A Light to Burn All the Empires is now up there with my comfort stories. That and The Wednesday Thing. Stories about Mikey being shot and Chris suffering severe depression, you wouldn't think they would be good comfort stories but they work perfectly for me.

Oh! Oh! Totally off topic, but I was telling Lucy about a Sentinel fic yesterday and you might know the one of which I speak. (She didn't know the Sentinel, though.)

Jim goes to find Blair at the library and Blair's way down in like the underbelly of the library, in the stacks, and he's getting a hand job (I think) from one of the student librarians? It was part of a voyeurism series of unrelated short fics.

Hee! I just went to my mail folders to find the emails about betaing that story and, a) dude, I'm amazed that you never smack me for being so rude when I'm betaing, especially when I'm in a rush, and b) AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! Goat Justin! I had totally forgotten about writing that.

Actually, I think that's a cool idea. And with friends like you and Anna, I know I'm pushing some of my comfort zones with fic ideas lately.

852 is an amazing archive. I'll always remember posting my very first fic there. It took me hours to push the submit button, and even then it was only because castalie was there urging me on.
