Sometimes I need to remember that I really love my cats. Like when I'm sitting eating my breakfast, hear an almighty crash and go through and see one of them have knocked down a pint glass. Which meant the floor was covered in sharp shards and nuggets of glass. Also those horrible flecks that get everywhere.

Then to make it even better, they obviously thought the glass was the best thing ever! I was cleaning up and Milo started batting at this huge shard then decided to lie on the floor and stretch out. While I was getting him out of harms way I hear a crunch crunch crunch, and there was Tinker, all, oh, shiny!

Half an hour and one bleeding palm later, I think I have it all. But will probably have to mop to finish the job.

James is at work today, which is why I was up at a disgusting hour for a Sunday. Still, it gives me a jump on the day. Not that I have that much to do, just the usual Sunday stuff and then I have fic to read, people to email and shows to watch. Not a bad day at all really.

Various people have been offering ficlets/stories lately, ones that write in the Mutant X fandom even, and that gives me glee! There should always be more MX fic in my life.

Also, the bittybang summaries have just gone up and. *wants*

Last thing, about last nights No one can tell me Merlin didn't give Arthur mouth to mouth, and they didn't show it! Bad show. Bad!

Whenever the b- ... the f- ... the little monsters do that, the first thing I do is grab them and lock them up before they need a visit to the vet I can't afford.

Although the first thing really should be to PUT ON SHOES but I was worried about them ... ow.

Gah, man yes. The last thing I need is a vet bill, but I have 4 cats, so getting them all out was an exercise in, well, herding cats.

Yeah, shoes are good. But you never seem to think of that first. It's always the animals.

I was so annoyed! You know when you're sitting poised, knowing a slashy moment is coming and it's going to be awesome. So I was like that, and it was going so well. Merlin hauling Arthur out of the water, and then. NOTHING!

And I mean, Merlin standing over Arthur's bed is nice and all, especially as he'd have had to carry him back and undress him and everything. But is it too much to ask for some mouth to mouth action, too? I think not!

They're so clever. They can do whatever they please because they *know* exactly how to be adorably cute. They don't even need to *ask* for your forgiveness, because they *know* they're so adorable that you *must* forgive them. Every time! For anything! Cats!!!! They're really the most obnoxious animals in the world sometimes! And still you forgive them everything. It MUST be a superpower of some sort! I hope you didn't hurt your palm too badly.

We've had a wonderfully sunny Sunday here! It was only a couple of centrigrades over freezing but absolutely no wind so it felt much warmer. I've both taken Lancecat for his daily excursion AND gone for a long walk with my mother so I've certainly made the best of it. Now I'm going to post my MCR wallpapers and then do some fic reading. I'm thinking Arsenic's MCR/Harry Potter story will be a nice Sunday afternoon read.

They really are. They're so annoying, yet so adorable at the same time. My hand's okay, I just got some glass stuck in the palm, but it stopped bleeding eventually.

Your Sunday sounds lovely. It's grey and rainy here so Corey and me are slobbing out. I've Arsenic's story tabbed too, but I'm just finishing some poking at my fic first before sending it to beta. Letting it sit was a good plan, especially as it now it has 3000 more words.

... I need to watch this show, clearly, because my class is reading The Once and Future King and that's... a very different Merlin, and not one I could imagine doing that.

Merlin is fantastic, and amazingly slashy. It's worth checking out if you can. Arthur and Merlin are great together. I mean, when a dragon says they're halves of one whole you know they're meant to be.

Cats are pests, there's no denying that. But lovable ones :)
