I forgot that I was tracking a post and just got an email saying Brendon/Jon fisting. Wondering who was was sending me such delicious things, I was disappointed when I realised what it actually was.
Anyway. Flist, it's been a good day.

I love it so much, and grin every time I look at it. Thank you so much ♥
James and Corey have been out today so I've been pottering around and writing. I've made a personal vow to get at least one story done by the end of this week. The problem being, the one that's closest is heading toward an extended action scene as well as Killjoys plus Bob gsf. However, I've decided I'm going to go with my plan to have gsf without any s. They can sit and read magazines and play board games instead. Maybe hold hands if I'm feeling adventurous.
Which I'm about to go back to now. Hot chocolate, Mutant X marathon the TV, a quiet house and discussing Bob's pink Jeep. What could be better? Also, I haven't meme'ed for a while, so I'm going to make like a sheep and ask,
If you were asked to pick one scene, one line, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the stories I've written and say, "This. This, for whatever reason, I remember. This is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

Date: 2010-12-11 04:09 pm (UTC)I love the idea of GSF without S. As you know I would.
Frank putting the pansy behind Mikey's ear in Richard of York. ♥

Date: 2010-12-11 04:12 pm (UTC)I do know you would ♥ Action scene and gsf. I must be insane.
I love that you picked that moment so much. I am grinning so hard right now, and may have to go read that. Because I'm just that egotistical.

Date: 2010-12-11 05:42 pm (UTC)Action scene, yay!! I love action scenes! And gsf too! You are so kind to your readers. *ignores nonsense about gsf without s*
Gerard in the dark basement hearing Ray's gardening crew at the beginning of Tints of Rainbow Hue. And the scene when he's doing the dishes and the rainbows on the bubbles inspires him to actually make some art in Grey Crimson Skies. Oh yes, and the scene where Bob finds Gerard at the beginning of Sound Tracking. Those three will always stay with me I think.

Date: 2010-12-11 07:50 pm (UTC)Oh man, I have plans, with raids on the family camp and explosions and Bob needing to make a choice and just. Gah.
I love that you chose those moments, especially as they make a pretty dark trio. Thank you <3

Date: 2010-12-11 08:54 pm (UTC)Well, they might be dark but they're also turning points of sorts. Or at least the first bit of light reaching into the darkness, promising better things in the future.

Date: 2010-12-11 04:46 pm (UTC)That just...ugh my heart- is totally how I see them happening. And I still thin this is the cleverest, most original little fic I've read. The whole idea was pretty brilliant. It's so very surreal and yet real and it has always stuck with me.

Date: 2010-12-11 05:53 pm (UTC)I'm so happy that you enjoy that story so much, and that particular moment.
Thank you so much for answering ♥

Date: 2010-12-11 05:11 pm (UTC)and you seem to have the best ideas planned out. gsf without the s sounds nifty and awesome...yay for adventurousness being hand holding.
I shall have to come back to the meme because I'm trying to post a short ficlet before work and I would need to reread because off the top of my head all I want to say is EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE WRITTEN
♥

Date: 2010-12-11 07:39 pm (UTC)Sadly I suspect my beta will poke me into add the S. But I'll try my best to get around it somehow *g*
While my to-read problem still remains huge, I'm still excited at new fic from you \o/

Mikey is an excellent gateway drug, one a lot of people use it seems.

Date: 2010-12-12 01:27 pm (UTC)From Sing The Revolution, The first scene where Mikey dresses for Frank. God, I just love it so much, and it's stuck hard in my memory. Frank being SO fucking turned on, and Gerard being so careful and respectful and protective and the build of tension. Just, ugh. Love that scene so much.
Also more recently from Then, Now and Forever, that first kiss between Pete and Mikey on the bench under the streetlight, lips tasting of chocolate and salt. You drew that scene so well it's stayed with me and I do indeeed want to keep it forever. :D
Awesome mug, BTW!

Date: 2010-12-19 09:22 pm (UTC)For Sing the Revolution, I was so worried and careful about that story that seeing people enjoying it is amazing.
And that kiss scene is one of my favourites I've written. So, thank you! So very much <3

Date: 2010-12-15 09:09 pm (UTC)Sadly, I have not the time, and if I tried to use it as background to my writing, I would just end up watching instead of writing, heh. (Although, I really do need to re-watch a certain episode to verify a few things, heh-heh...)
As for the meme...I'm not sure I can pick a single scene or moment... ..Words and of course Boxes spring to mind as favorites, but I dunno if I could distill any one point that makes them so. I think it's mostly the fact that your writing can make me just see and feel Chris' heart for his lover and/or bandmates so much. I love it.
