I've been reading through this list of Mikey/Pete stories, and really enjoying doing so. Sadly, the longest story on there is one written by me. When Day is Night Alone if you're wondering. It's listed with Spencer/Ryan as the side pairing and I can imagine Mikey/Pete people reading and wondering when the heck they turn up.

I actually re-read part of that story recently and really wanted to start writing in the universe again. The pre story of Mikey and Pete actually building Clan House and the one after with Jon finding Tom. The second of which I'd planned on being a coda, which ha. Apparently I'm incapable of writing codas. But yeah, the whole universe feels comfortable to me and Clan House is this warm, amazing place that I want to visit. I want to sit at the kitchen table and eat a sandwich while Mikey cleans in his skull-print apron and Bob rummages through his collection of teas in the cupboard and dogs run around like crazy.

Anyway, I grabbed this from mahoni as apparently all I do lately is steal memes from her. Hey, it's that or babble at length about how I realised I'd contradicted myself in this new story and the original or that I'm afraid my pacing is off and that Bob needs to stop being so damn stupid and realise just because Gerard is damaged it doesn't mean he's broken.

Take the first lines of your last ten stories and run each of them through Translation Party until they reach equilibrium, or until the program gives up on you. Post the results.

This could be the first line of a very awesome story where some kind of murderous psychotic kidnapper is going around taking bandom people and doing mean things to them, and keeping them in cages! But of course he doesn't consider Bob, because Bob is ninja like and fends off any kidnapping attempts. They can take Mikey instead, and Bob can find him. And yes, I am well aware that I just wrote that story. Your point is?

Ryan is the real evidence, Spencer knows - and is called.

The evidence of what? That's what I want to know. This could be the start of that CSI/Panic cross I want and Spencer is CSI Smith, though that would make Ryan the corpse, and that makes me sad.

I think this is my favourite, apart from the changing of Brian to Bryan which always reminds me of Bryan, ex of Westlife, which just, no. But who was the important partner of Bryan? This is important.
