Did anyone else that lists My Chem as a favourite band at Last FM get hit up with a private message from a member of the band The Crowns? I'm listening to their stuff now and it's pretty good.

Anyway! What I'm here for is the below. I know it's late but I was kinda down on myself the last week in terms of being a good friend so wasn't taking part in any. Well, apart from the sneaky people who replied when I commented as I usually would. So, let me love you up, people.

I could write a thousand words telling you how awesome you are.

I could easily say I love you because you're you. But that would be a cop out, even if it is true. You write so amazingly well, you're so supportive in emails, you're generous even when it gets you no reward. You're fun, talented, funny and so damn resilient that you amaze me.

Popslash and the Chris love brought us together, but we're past fannish friends and are just friends, and that's fantastic.

How I started with Inky applies to you too. I could go on for ages about how much I like about you. I often think back to that day you commented on my popslash friending post and am so glad that you did so because you've become one of my most favourite people.

You're so talented and write really well, you have such an amazing imagination and give so much thought to what you're actually writing, the same way you give some much effort to beta reading. You're also incredibly supportive to other people. I see you commenting all over and you're always there when I need you. Because goodness knows sometimes I send insane ideas your way and every time you let me run with them.

I know how hard you work and yet you always find time for other people. Maybe not as much as you want at times, but still, you're one heck of a friend.

Love is an awesome thing.

You're one of the people that seem to have been on my flist forever. I remember it was when you were so sick I heard people talking about you, which is probably a strange way to discover you, but they all sounded like they liked and admired you a lot, and who could go wrong with someone like that?

I quickly found out how right they were. I like so much about you, that you love fandom so much and have no problem saying that. I admire that you are so multi fannish and also that you never seem to get bogged down in wank about any of them. You were there encouraging me to go to that first ever Connotations when I was terrified about going anywhere alone, and cheered along when I did go. That support meant a lot.

I love that you wear dealy boppers at work to make people smile and that you keep on with your job despite the way you've been messed about at times. I like the way you talk about your family, how they're far from perfect but they're still your family and that means something. I love that you have a big book of slashers and you send mail that makes people smile.

You're a very special person <3

I'm so incredibly lucky to have a group of people that I class as real friends. People that have gone beyond the fannish connection to generalised friendship. You're part of that group.

We've said this over and over but we are so different in many ways. What we like, what we do, how we think, but it's those differences that I like. That even if we do disagree about something you're not the kind of person who'll be mean about that. I've always thought you respect me, and that's awesome.

You're incredibly talented with your graphics and your comments are always ones I look forward to reading. Not just on fic but knowing you'll actually notice what I'm up to day by day.

As for you. First thing first, I say you are a nice person, so hush. I love that you share you photography with us, I enjoy seeing your life and pets. I like that you're honest if you dislike something, but say so in a way that never feels ranty. Tied into that, I know that if we ever disagree on something it wouldn't end up in any way wanky. Being able to agree to disagree is a great thing and I think you have the ability to do that.

I like that you never gace up and managed to turn your life around. That's such an amazing thing and when I think back a few years and compare it to now. The difference is huge.

I love that you talk about Bean with such affection and do things because they're fun. I like that you're so hard working and that you enjoy fandom so much even though you have less time to do so right now. Those are lovely things to see.

The thing is, finding people who share my fic tastes is difficult at times, or at least someone that gets pleasure out of discussing the type of fic I like. I was incredibly lucky that I had two such people, and then I met you and I had three.

I love talking fic with you so much and you're incredibly good at it. I love how much care you take when you're looking at a story, from the shortest thing to something long. I love that you're so committed to coming through with what you promised even when you're busy yourself.

I always enjoy your posts because you post about such a variety of stuff. I especially enjoy the pictures you share and really, sometimes I just want to marry your brain.

There's so much that's awesome about you. It's weird, because we've talked bandom so much sometimes I forget that we actually met due to the sparkly_glee challenge. That seems like a lifetime ago.

I know you're having issues now but you write so well, I always enjoy your stories mainly because it's so apparent that you like and respect the people you're writing about. I love that you share lovely pictures -- and have the talent to take them -- and that often insane comment conversations crop up in your journal.

You make me laugh often and are so generous with your time beta wise. I love that while fandom is important to you it's not all of you, and enjoy hearing your thoughts about the plays you go to see to your brief comments on twitter about some tv show, comments that often make me laugh.

I like that despite bad times you keep on going, in both fandom and real life. I'm just glad to know you full stop.

What do I like about you? Lots of things.

I love that you draw so well and share your art just so people will smile. It must have been a heck of a lot of work to do your Christmas cards and yet you kept going until they were done. I love that you do the best comment fic ever! I've had so many insane, funny and just plain wonderful comment fic threads with you. Your brain is an amazing thing.

I love the pictures you post, ones where you weren't afraid to be silly simply because you were having fun, and that you have such a cool OTP :D

There are many things I like about you. You're amazingly organised for one, and I love that I've seen that both online but also in real life, where you could charge for mini bus luggage arrangement. You're so talented with photography and really funny in such a dry way.

I like that you get the love of badfic and while you're very much a otp girl you'll also read many other pairings and talk about them too. Also how you seem to know so much about other fandoms and tv shows with every seeing them or taking part.

I think there are people in this world that shine. I know I tell you that you're shiny often, but I mean it. It's like, your joy in stuff is always there. Poetry and your virtual road trips, your pleasure at words or that perfect picture. You want to try stuff and do stuff and that's so incredibly awesome.

You're so supportive too, your comments always mean a lot, from the fun ones to the more serious. When I see you've commented I know you've read what I've said and thought about it, and I see you give those kinds of comments to so many people.

You're so talented with words and art and seeing things that others may pass over. Your posts tend to be like going on an adventure, one where we never know where we're going but know it'll be interesting.

It's strange because until your cake story I'd never even heard your name. It was like one minute you weren't there and the next you were everywhere. Your writing ability is amazing and I love the ideas you create, how you've always got these rich and length stories going on and are so enthusiastic about what you're writing. Talking fic with you is a pleasure.

I love that you're so committed to what you do. You always seem to be so busy and yet you get things done, no matter what that takes and I love your new attitude to life. The thing about you is, I met you and felt comfortable. I know that doesn't seem much but I always get so worried about new people. That they'll think I'm an idiot or won't want to be seen with me and you were wonderful. It was the first time we'd met but it didn't feel that way. The memory of that day will always be special. I love that you're so interested in so many things and that your posts range over many topics.

I love that you keep pushing yourself, even when sometimes things don't go well and that you've found someone special. There are so many things I like about you. Beyond the obvious that you're one hell of a writer, you're always there with a great comment about the fic you read. Not just mine but so many other people too. I love that you think about fic ideas and run with them often, and that you love Bob so much that you collect fic and pictures and have created a wonderful place for other Bob fans.

Beyond the writing/beta reading etc. You're such a fascinating person. You like so much and I can imagine your conversations ranging from dragons to how to fit a sink. To fannish people anyway, maybe dragons don't come up with non-fans. I love that you love your kid so much and things get tough for you but you never completely crumble.

The thing about you I love the most is -- everything.

I love that you're so honest when we're talking in emails. You trust me with what you feel and that means so much. You're so resilient, always going forward through the bad times that bring you down. I love the way that you write and that you enjoy talking stories so much. It's one of my favourite things to do and you do it well. I'm glad you replied. Not because you're in the dark about how I feel, because I suspect that could have leaked out, but because I like telling you how awesome I think you are.

First off. Something I love about you. Your writing, your stories, your thoughts about fic. That's obvious, but that's only a tiny thing in the grand scheme of things.

The thing is. I could have a list a mile long about things I like about you. That you're so passionate about women, that you're interested in so much stuff, a big variety of stuff. In one email you can be telling me anything from cupcakes to explaining about some world event. I love that you have such joy in dancing and that you adore your pets. I love that you have so many blankets and appreciate a good pillow fort.

I love that you trust me enough to tell me things and that you admit to your mistakes. You're so nice to people and are so good to your friends. I love your beautiful tattoo and the fact that it means so much to you. When I'm feeling mean or stupid or bitchy you'll listen to me vent. I love that you're so open about some things. On the days when you're feeling really bad you'll reach out, and that's a really hard thing to do.

I love that you talk about what you like and don't care who knows it, that I can read someone's post and find you enthusing about space sex slaves in comments because that's so you. I love that even if you don't like something you'll never be mean to anyone that does like that, for example, if I've never thought twice about telling you if I enjoyed a waycest fic even though I know it's not your thing.

There's so much to like/admire/love about you.

The way that you'll always be honest but in a way that you'd never say anything that would deliberately hurt someone. Being able to walk that line is something I admire a lot. I love your enthusiasm, for fandom, life, anything you do really. The way how when you start something you'll finish it, whatever that takes. I love that you're such a good friend. The way I know you'll always have my back even if we haven't communicated for weeks. That kind of friendship is rare but I know if I ever need to discuss anything or talk to you you'll be there.

I love your writing and the fact that you learnt how to do fanvids and graphics. You always seem to have a thousand things on the go at once and I think that's so cool, even if I do worry sometimes that you take on so much.

I love talking to you, finding out what you're thinking as you share your work with me and the way you give great hugs even though you're not excessively touchy-feely.

I know you had fannish doubts lately, but what I love about you is the fact that you are so devoted to Frank. It's so obviously genuine and I enjoy seeing that. I love that you share pictures and think you write really well. I know I'll always like your stories even though our OTPs don't match at all.

I've never seen you be mean about anyone and your journal always seems to be a safe place to squee and have fun.

I'm lucky because some of my best friends have answered this. I could tell you so much that I love, like and admire about you. That you're one hell of a friend, that you're talented, funny, hard working and have the kind of brain I want to marry.

I love that you love Christmas and have such enthusiasm about so many things in life. That you're such a Starbucks addict and love your family so deeply. I love your love of snow and how you'll always have my back, and always have for years.
