Birdfeeding

I fed the birds. I've seen a few sparrows and house finches.
I put out water for the birds.
EDIT 5/30/25 -- I trimmed grass along the west edge of the new picnic table.
EDIT 5/30/25 -- I started trimming weeds around the purple-and-white garden.
EDIT 5/30/25 -- I trimmed brush along the north side of the path to the ritual meadow. That filled two trolleys.

Fannish 50 S3: NMIXX does it again!
May. 30th, 2025 02:01 pmglitteryvApparently, I'm in a semi-nostalgic mood (aside from being a fan of everyone I've been posting abt.) Cuz here I am talking abt NMiXX who I last wrote abt last year.
Anyways, back in March, NMIXX dropped Fe304: Forward, the third EP of the Fe304 trilogy. I know there's some lore that builds and connects all three albums, but I legit have zero idea of what it all it.
The ONLY thing I know is that "Know About Me", the title track was FIRE!
Trigger Warning: This is a visual f/x heavy MV that might make give some folks motion sickness (the camera moves every which way.)
The Dance Practices
This one has a moving camera that left me feeling slightly queasy cuz of all the panning, zooming in/out, and close-ups. BUT it's a good way to show that the members are PERFORMING (since they're singing live.)
Here's another one that has a steady focus and is filmed from afar. Out of the two practices, this is my fave cuz it allows the viewer to appreciate the entire choreo.
This other song is from the album, but wasn't a pre-release? Unfortch, there's no actual MV, but it's my fave out of all the tracks. Hence its inclusion. Love, love, the piano and beat combo.

The Day in Spikedluv (Thursday, May 29)
May. 30th, 2025 07:01 amspikedluvIt was supposed to be a no-shopping day again, but I ended up going to Walmart to get another wrist brace, since I figured I’d given the other enough of a trial. So last night I slept with a brace on both wrists for the first time.
I did a load of laundry, as well as the usual amount of hand-washing dishes and scooping of kitty litter.
I finished Exit Strategy yesterday and read some fanfic. I stopped by the library to return and pick-up a book. I also took a nap in the afternoon. Why am I so tired?!! It can’t ~all be the weather, can it? (Maybe I should ask my PCP to add an iron test to my blood work next time.)
I visited my aunt (she was getting a perm when I arrived, so I sat in the hair salon room for our visit), and held my daily telephone conversation with my mom.
I baked salmon for Pip’s supper. Once again, not my thing, so I made oatmeal and toast for myself because I was feeling chilled.
I also e-mailed some photos of one of the garage cats to the vet to see if they could give us an idea of what to do (he’s scratched a good sized wound behind his ear; we think he might have ear mites), but they won’t give us any suggestions without a visit.
Temps started out at 53.6(F) and reached 71.1. It was overcast all day with some sprinkles, but the the sun peeked through in the evening.
(Today I have the final follow-up visit with my surgeon!)

Poland, Finland, and Estonia are now discussing quitting the global landmine ban. Latvia and Lithuania have already voted to leave but could still reconsider their decision. If we stay silent, more may follow—and Europe could unravel 25 years of progress in protecting civilian life. More lives and limbs will be lost.
