Feb. 11th, 2012 08:45 amYou know what else is awesome?
Corey headed off to Paris on Thursday. He didn't leave until 10:30 at night, which led to the amusing sight of hanging in a cold car park watching most of the girls who were going wandering around in their onesies. Especially so as most were animal related, so there were cows, tigers and pigs everywhere. Sadly the boys let the side down, only one of them wearing awesome comic panelled pj bottoms.
Today is also Corey's 16th birthday. It's weird him not being here, and I miss him, but he's spending his 16th at Eurodisney with a group of his friends. As birthdays go that has to be a good way to spend it, and we'll have our own birthday dinners next week so will have time as a family then.
ETA: I was just reading the interview with Gerard where he talks about building the studio, and every time they mention the compound I'm reminded of Making the Tour and Nsync. Now I'm sure My Chem's won't have a bowling alley or jet skies, but it could. I'm sure they'd all look fabulous in wet suits.

Date: 2012-02-11 04:36 pm (UTC)Yeah. They've been doing a lot of stuff, and we gave the teacher some money so Corey got a birthday cake. Even a country away we can be embarrassing parents *g*

Date: 2012-02-11 04:39 pm (UTC)I can imagine him like that, and a very nice picture it is too. The wet suit tight against his body, hair all crazy and backlit by the sun. Of course this is before he goes in the water as after he'd look like a wet rat *g*

Date: 2012-02-11 04:41 pm (UTC)To be honest. It boggles me a little too, even if France is pretty close.

Happy birthday to him, and happy mum-anniversary to you - you did good :D

Thank you ♥

Date: 2012-02-11 06:18 pm (UTC)I've only heard about onesies being popular among the lower teens here in Sweden, I've never seen any. It must look hilarious.
No way he's sixteen!!! I refuse to believe it! But tell him happy birthday from me anyway :-)
I think I prefer not to think of My Chem in association with bowling allies and jet skies. Just think of all the bodily harm they cold do themselves! So much safer to just imagine it having a really awesome selection of comics, DVDs, and coffee :-)

Date: 2012-02-12 06:47 am (UTC)(I have to ask though... what is a onesie in this context? To me it's pretty strictly a baby's garment.)
Now I am picturing Mikey in a wetsuit. He would have very sleek lines, I am sure.

Date: 2012-02-17 08:30 pm (UTC)Onsies are pretty much adult versions of the ones babies wear, just without the crotch snappers. They've got really popular here, mainly due to reality tv people wearing them out on the street during the day.
Mikey would look awesome in a wetsuit I'm sure.

Date: 2012-02-17 08:57 pm (UTC)Onesies look so weird on actual grown people. I'm sure they must be comfortable but they're not really outside wear.
I did :D
I'm sure their compound will have rooms for gaming and a state of the art coffee bar, maybe a small gym. I'd like to think there would be lots of sofas for napping, too.

I'm sure they'd all look fabulous in wet suits.
*thinks about it* True, but one can help wondering how long would the Way bros would stay out in the sun w/o melting. LOL!

Date: 2012-03-06 01:27 pm (UTC)I still have more to read, I was doing so well, too. I may try and get more read today considering people are talking BRBB posting dates now.
Corey had a great birthday, yeah.
Ahahahah. The Way bros are not sun lounging people, I agree.
