Spamming tonight, sorry.
As he pulled on expensive leather pants, he remembered the time he tore a hole in his school pants; and his mom’s face as she tried to mend them once again. As he laced his boots he remembered the plastic that lined his shoes, and the way water would still seep through. As the silk shirt slipped across his skin he remembered the embarrassment of charity clothes and the knowing smirks of classmates, memories still sharp years later. Chris could dress up how he liked now, but would always remember. It was the way he knew how far he’d come.

..I liked that. It was cool, felt like "Real" Chris, not just silly energy hyperactive guy that seems to get written a lot.
I still say you should write for DWNOGA or other sdb lists or something. You're good at this, too, luv!
((Terri))
Keep up the good work!

Date: 2003-11-03 07:15 am (UTC)Thanks. One of the reasons that I like Chris so much is he is silly and hyperactive, but he's also capable of being the total opposite. I just totally admire him for going for his dream.
Talking of sesa. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do. If it's as good as your MX stuff it'll be excellent.
Re: Aw...
Date: 2003-11-04 12:08 am (UTC)So, you like my stuff?
*pokes Terri*
You've never commented, or said anything (other than the 1st email WIP I ever sent, lol...)
What'd you think of Trick & Treats? I still have zero idea where half of it came from, lol...
Looking forward to a sparkly Christmas....

Date: 2003-11-05 10:16 am (UTC)I love your stuff! If I wasn't such a flake I'd tell you that all the time. I'm sorry :(

Loved it! Just sent you a mail. But man, if the half you know about is the sex part you must either have an awesome imagination or social life!
Did I just say that? *blush*
Looking forward to a sparkly Christmas....
Oh yeah!!! We'll be flaming this Christmas!! All glittery and sparkly ;)

Date: 2003-11-05 10:43 am (UTC)Thank you! I tried to get away from the obvious theme of dress up, so I'm glad you saw it as real.
I love when you write Chris *g*
I had the biggest grin when I read that. I love writing him, but feel very much the newbie. Knowing that you like how I write him means a lot. Thank you :)
