turpsI don't know where time went yesterday. I spent the morning catching up at DW while doing the laundry, then somehow in the afternoon between making the roast dinner, eating and cleaning up, putting out & bringing in the washing, and making James' packed lunch it was suddenly 6pm and I hadn't even started the ironing.
Today. Today is just, gah. Family issues that have led to 6 phonecalls and counting so far.

When I linked to it on twitter yesterday and said it looked like Mikey and Frank were bodyguards it led to an amazing half hour of bodyguard story plotting. Not just one story either, but two *____*
In other fic news, I've been in contact with my brbb artist so all things are go for posting. I'm also picking through various ideas for bbb, which can be summed up by, the one where Pete is in a coma, the one where nothing happens, the one where the world is ending. All highly catchy I'm sure you'll agree.
But mostly, bodyguards and people throwing themselves in front of a bullet and falling in love with their bosses.
Now to catch up on LJ, and if that happens, some fic reading later. Oh, and watching new Grimm and Once Upon a Time, too.

Mikey could mention to Frank that he misses stuff, like eating popcorn at a movie marathon, because of course a supermodel isn't supposed to eat stuff like that, and Frank could bring him some to cheer Mikey up and then goes to leave but Mikey says he needs to stay and share and Frank can spent the whole movie itching in his skin at having Mikey so close and being unable to touch, because it wouldn't be proper.

Date: 2012-03-12 05:24 pm (UTC)It's a great photo (do we know when/where it's from?) but I can't say it makes me think of bodyguards. To me they mostly look like (failed) juvenile delinquents-in-training, hanging around train station lockers and trying (and failing) to look badass :-)
I'm glad to hear you've heard from your artist and don't have to worry.
I think you should write the one with most Gerard in it ;-P

But saying that, I do like the idea of them as faily juvenile delinquents. Vandalising lockers and then going back to pick up the mess *g*
My artist is in Europe too so Wednesday afternoon is the go time it seems.
I was trying to think which would have the most Gerard and it's the toss up between the one where nothing happens and the one where the world has ended. Though my brbb is all Gerard's pov so that should keep you happy.

Families are of the suck sometimes. But all is well for now, thank goodness.

I just have fun thinking about it. How the Ways own the diner and Brendon is their fry cook and various other people have shops close by. They have a wall painted with blackboard paint and encourage customers to leave messages. Really, the only faint plot there is Frank turning up and having to stay in the town unexpectedly, and his pov of these strange people he meets.

I kinda like the idea of the one where nothing happens. Sounds lovely. Knowing you, however, I've got a feeling that you'll slip in some good ol' hurt/comfort somewhere. Even if the hurt is a papercut and the comfort is the dude's boyfriend kissing it better. :P
