I wasn't going to post today, but then the picture of Mikey and Gerard hit on twitter.

You'll have all seen, but still.







Like many people I've been waiting to see this since the tweets about them being photographed in old men pyjamas. Then I saw that they were supporting Illuminate Parkinsons and I loved them even more.

If you don't know my dad has Parkinson's, and it's an awful disease that's robbed him of a normal life. In the notification they say that prints will be made available from this, and I really hope they're not going to be too expensive, because I want one. For the picture itself, but mostly for the cause.

Yeah, it sucked. He went from being this strong and healthy fire fighter to someone who can barely talk and has multiple other physical issues.

I knew your dad was ill but I'd forgotten it was Parkinson's. I really hope the prints won't be too expensive because you should totally have one!

Its awesome that they are supporting such a worthy cause. I'm really not sure how to respond to this pic, though. A part of me wants to go 'yay! Way Bros!' but another part is going x.x

my Dad had Parkinson's as well. It was so frustrating for him. These guys prove their awesomeness yet again. Hugs!

They're adorable and silly and perfect and adorable, and I love that they're doing this for such a wonderful cause. It's especially wonderful that it's a favored band of yours that's doing it in support of curing something that's affected your life and the people you love — that must carry so much extra weight for you. I'm sorry about your dad ♥
