turpsHas anyone seen any icons made for The Words yet? Because I have need of them in my life. And if I don't get them I'll have to go bug Turlough and she's busy and hasn't got time to make them and will hate me forever. I'll still bug her, though >:)
I really do love the video of The Words, it turns Kids into a very different song and I think that's incredibly cool. They also all look great, I actual fact gasped at one point.
Another thing I've liked recently is these pictures from Yo Gabba Gabba of
Look at them. Why is there not more yeti fic? I don't understand!
James goes back to work tonight after nearly a fortnight off. Actual time off at both ends with a period in the middle where he wasn't allowed to go to work due to suspected chicken pox, though that turned out to be a viral infection. It means I've watched countless episodes of Storage Wars, American Pickers, Pawn Stars etc
Corey's got one of his early GCSE results back, gaining an A in maths. Which I thought was great but he's resitting because the school think he's capable of an A*. I've got no idea where he gets his maths and science skills from because it certainly isn't me.
We have blackbirds making a nest in the ivy on our garden fence. I can see them from the kitchen window and they fascinate me, the male and female going in and out with twigs and dried grass. They've got a prime spot too, with the bird feeder only feet away and the ivy so thick it creates a safe space for them. Still haven't managed to plant the seedlings outside though, today is the first day it hasn't rained for almost a week so the ground is sodden. Maybe tomorrow if this keeps up.

I envy you and Lancecat envies your kitties :-) I really miss that bit of woodland behind my flat in Stockholm. It was so cool having birds and squirrels so close.

I'm really enjoying watching the birds. Earlier a power struggle happened when another blackbird tried to claim the prime spot. There was quite the battle going on.

It could be that I'm also associating the two videos because both have Gerard sporting the same hairdo. :P
BTW, I shall campaign icons from this video very hard . . . once Turl comes back from Camp Sparkle that is. Hee!
The Yo Gabba Gabba outtakes were ridiculously adorable. I mean, sure James looks LOLarious because of the yeti costume, but Frank. Frank is like something out of a cartoon. His little face! The expressions! I don't exactly ship them, but I'd very happily read all of the James and Frank as BFFs fic that exists in the universe.
I too was a little surprised that the pics didn't make as many waves as I'd expected. OTOH, I'm glad to see that the band is still giving us canon while they work on the new album. :)
Finally, congrats to Corey on his high marks!

James and Frank as BFFs would be adorable. Really considering he's a full time member in all but name only James should be in more fic. Sadly I'm guilty of omission myself. Even when I do include him it's very much as a background role.
It still surprises me what people get excited about. But hey, we enjoyed them :D
