Bandom big bang continues to delight me. While I don't read all the pairings I love seeing all the different stories be posted, long stories of so many different kinds, and so much beautiful art and creative mixes, too. I keep saying it but fans are the best ♥

What I also like is that the stories being posted are so varied and there are no big clumps of one pairing all at once. I don't know if that's by design or not but in my head the mods have a spread sheet working it all out. &them;

Yesterday I baked with James. A chocolate banana bread loaf and brownies. Though the brownies are very rich, on the side of being too much so as we added melted Cadbury's niblets as well as chunks of chocolate. Which in theory sounds lovely, in reality one small square and you're done.

We have a mouse D: I looked around yesterday and Pansy was running around with it in her mouth. Sadly in the kerfuffle she let it go and it ran away. While I'm not scared of mice themselves, I hate when they get in the house.

I saw The Avengers at last and think Clint is all kinds of awesome. I'm not actively searching out fic at the moment but I'm sure it will happen.

Shows I'm really enjoying at the moment. Suits and Teen Wolf. TW is the best. This season really has amped up the awesome even with the sad lack of another homoerotic werwolf fight set to Destroya. I'm also still really liking Revenge and am on season 4 of Parks and Rec. Which means soon I'll have no eps left to watch D:

I'm reading A Feast of Crows and man, it's hard going. New characters everywhere and a sad lack of the ones I actually care about. In contrast on the kindle I'm reading the last in the Rainbow High trilogy which is ridiculous, easy reading.

The homeworking prep is still ongoing. Tomorrow someone is coming to fit special phone lines upstairs so no doubt I'll be sitting downstairs muttering about them not disrupting my net access.

Had a long talk with my sister last night which yet again reinforced the idea that mam's either going to eventually end up banned from every pub in town, in jail or in hospital. It's just a case of what happens first.

And after that mini catch up, I'm off to finish reading Gala's BBB before tidying the tip.

I haven't gone and looked for fic yet! But who knows, I may eventually take a leaf out of your book and actually write in more than one fandom for once *g*

I've just finished watching the latest ep, which is why I didn't comment to your TW post yet. But man, Derek is taking brooding stances to a new level. I loved him standing outside of Scott's house. And go Allison, I loved her moment with the bow and arrow.

BBB is so much fun! I haven't gotten around to reading many yet (focussing more on Avengers fic right now *g*), but I'm really enjoying just seeing what different things people have come up with. And the lovely lovely art of course.

I'm being good and not actually searching out Avengers fic at the moment. There's only so much I can read at one time *g* But yeah, seeing the ideas people get is always my favourite thing. The fannish imagination is amazing.

BBB rocks!! Though I'm terribly behind at the moment. I haven't felt like reading something long in a while, but last night I started reading the OT3 story and it's just as good as I hoped it would be. I've never really seen the fascination with steampunk before, but this story might change that. I'm far from finished though, I got distracted by other things when I got online today and haven't gotten back to it yet.

I've never had a mouse in my house since I've always lived in flats. I hope one of the kitties manages to catch it again.

Oh no! Don't tell me you too have been bitten by the Avengers bug?!! I'm keeping everything I can crossed that it will just be a passing fad because far too many of my favourite bandom writers seem to have been caught by it. I want them to continue writing in bandom! *sulks*

It really does. Of course the inevitable bitching happens like always but I think the challenge is great. I see Rachael's story got posted this morning but I may tab it for a while, I have others I want to read first.

The mouse hasn't been seen since so I'm hoping it escaped back outside. Better that than finding a tiny chewed mouse corpse one day.

I'm sure I'll be reading the fic, but I have no actual desire to write for it. It's been so long since I wrote anything but rps I'm not sure if I could anyway.

Wave 1 is going at the right pace for me. I'm not reading every fic (mostly because I read based on pairings and some, no matter how awesome, don't ping me. Occasionally, the pairing is A-OK with me, but the premise is not. Go figure). Still, I've got about 4 fics waiting for me in my nook. \o/!

I have checked out the art and dl some of the mixes. Lots of awesomenss out there. :)

Oh, how I wish I could steal a slice of that loaf, T. Huge sweet tooth Luce has a HUGE sweet tooth. :P

Yays for you watching Revenge! I think S2 of Suits is already on the air, but I've been too focused with BBB to tackle that. Probably will catch up by the time it goes on summer hiatus. Eventually, I will get around watching TW.

Yeah, exactly. I read a load of pairings but some I'm not keen on at all so I just pass them by. However, of the ones I have read only one didn't grab me so that's a big success rate.

There is. Seriously, fans are the best :D

The banana loaf is very nice, though it is weird seeing it brown and not the usual plain cake colour. But, it tastes good and that's the important thing.

The mouse hasn't been seen for over a day now so I'm hoping that means it got back out. Fingers crossed anyway.

Well I wasn't into the Avengers at all until I actually watched. Apart from reading Arsenic's stories anyway. Then I did watch and it's obvious what the draw is. Not that I have any desire to actually plunge into the fandom. I like where I am now :)

I'm loving Revenge so much. It's one of those shows that seem to go past really fast, like you start watching one moment and the next it's over. That's always a sign of something good.

Yep. Though #3 is a pdf and the text is tiny and can't be magnified without scrolling the page so when I'm reading I'm squinting like crazy. But it's worth it. They're nice, entertaining books which is what I need after battling through A Feast for Crows.

I agree! So far, it seems like they've done a great job with how they've spread things out. Not just with pairings, but I feel like they've intentionally interspersed well-known authors with newer authors and mixed it up as far as not having a bunch of fics about one band all in a row. It seems to be flowing great, so far! *nod nod* :)

Oh! And also the art! *__________________* SO fucking gorgeous! I'm loving it all!

I like it that way and I'm impressed at how varied the actual posted stories have been.

The art is so great! I just want to tell every person that took part that they're amazing.
