This morning I decided to make a sausage casserole, so put the ingredients in the slow cooker and left them cooking away. Only to get very dubious about the sausages themselves. I don't like the things so I waited until James woke up, fed him an end, and yeah, into the bin it goes.

This morning the BT guy was here again. At this point it feels like there's something missing in the day if he's not here before 9am. He says all is fine on their end and the connection issues are a router problem, so the buck has been passed back to James' work. I had to laugh because James is on nights at the moment and was sleeping on the couch, so I was trying to tell him stuff the BT guy was saying and it just wasn't going in.

Him sleeping on the couch does lead to many funny moments. From the muttering in his sleep to him waking, asking what time it was and when I replied, 10, he asked if that was ten in the morning or afternoon. I was tempted to answer 9 in the afternoon but he wouldn't have got it.

I had an excellent visit with augustuscaesar. We had lunch at the beach front restaurant, nabbing a prime window corner seat that gave excellent views of all the dogs having fun on the beach. Then we came back to mine for more chat and so Tara could meet the cats, and it was just lovely and chilled and I was sorry to see her go. Fangirls are the best, especially ones that you've known forever. Something shown when we were chatting about how Corey was in primary school when we first met.

Total subject change, well sort of, as this involves someone I've also known online for a long time. spasticat does great art, and also has been going through some really tough times. Which is why I'm linking to her post post offering to do animal paintings. If that's something you're interested in, please go take a look.

So you made a sausage casserole without sausage?

I'm starting to doubt James will ever be able to work from home. It seems to have just been one problem after another so far.

It sounds so uncomfortable to sleep on the couch like that. I can see doing it for a short nap but not all the time.

Of course she had to meet the cats, they're very important members of your household after all :-)

No, I made it with sausages, but they turned this weird colour and didn't smell very clever. So after James said they tasted a bit off, too, I chucked the lot.

It's getting frustrating now. All the equipment is there and set up, but without a working connection to his work it's useless. The BT people are adamant the phone lines are fine and it's a router issue. I guess we'll see when they bring the new one. Whenever that is.

I know, right? I couldn't do it but he seems to sleep just fine like that.

She managed to take beautiful photos of three of them. Sadly Milo was being his usual self and stayed upstairs with Corey. It'll be nice to have pics where they don't have laser eyes.

Apparently James complained when he went to work last night, not so much about how long everything was taking, but that his work were booking BT visits without telling us first.

So they let him come home early. Not sure when though as he was crashed out on the couch when I came down.

Hanging out with fangirls offline/in RL is soooo cool! Especially when you've been friends with them for a long time. ^_^

I agree, hanging with fangirls is the best. I always used to get nervous meeting people, and in fact still do to an extent. But after so long, it gets easier every time.
