turpsIt's not even 8 and I've been up 2 hours...sigh.
Woke and found my nose was bleeding, which as I was sleeping on my stomach meant my face was smeared with blood, and my pillow wet. I had to get up, that is after I washed my face, hands and watch etc. Stumbled downstairs and watched another MX episode, which cheered me up, especially after when I saw Victor's ink on his back at last. But more about that later, my brain hasn't switched on yet.
I'm going to read my flist, inhale coffee and try to wake up.

I was home, but talking to my parents, who're visiting. If I'd just been upstairs a LITTLE earlier... ..ah, well.
Nice to know IMing me is something you'll do when you're up too early and your brain isn't on yet... ..I think there's a backhanded compliment in there somewhere, as well as the suggestions of blackmail potential... *wink*

I'll try to do it this weekend- although the Clan is supposed to come for said weekend *sigh* I love my family you know that, but I would have loved to stay quiet at home.

Brennan said, "I suppose you're going to say I can either do this fast or slow" and the gorgeous mutant replied with a suggestive sneer "I only do it slow."
What a fantastic moment, I shivered seeing it. So I may have been dreaming about that ;)

*glazed eyes* Brennan screaming and moaning... question: did the creators of MX do it on purpose? The slash innuendo I mean (or is it more than innuendo? is slash a part of the equation?). Do you think some series do that on purpose?

I recently saw the 1st two eps, and this show has been SUPER slashy from day one!!
SOMEONE has to be doing it on purpose, even if it's being done subtly so no one can point it out and object... ..but honestly, I think they do it on purpose and have a good time with it, just like Xena: Warrior Princess did, and I'd hazard a guess saying it EXPANDS their fan base one heckuva lot more than it might hurt it... *snicker* Now I REALLY wanna see some of the off-camera discussions... ..and the blooper-reel potential is _fabulous_, lmao...

Like Josh said the show was very slashy in the beginning. In episode two they had this scene where they gave the two new members of MX ( Brennan and Emma) rings.Jesse gave Bren his, Shalimar Emma hers. The two girls hugged, and Jesse said to Brennan 'what no hug?'*g* Bren and Jesse were very close at first, to the extent they could tell what the other would do just by a small amount of body language.
It's the femmeslash that was really strong, you'd think that Emma and Shalimar were a couple at times.
In season 2 the creators wanted a darker show, so Brennan and Jesse weren't as close, but there were still moments that you couldn't help notice. Jesse has a habit of cradling Brennan's head on his lap when he gets hurt for example.
The whole show is very sexual in nature, we have these 4 gorgeous people and they all flirt to some extent with one another, so I think some of it is on purpose. I know that slash is implied with guest actors, like Silva and someone called Thorne in episode 1 who was just a little too happy to have Brennan in his power.
Maybe the creators don't intend it to be seen like that, but it is, one of the magazines that I get even makes slashy comments when they run pictures of Brennan and Jesse *g*
