turpsLike many people I'm sure, I stalk the BBB claim posts, and when I saw that it was annemari that claimed my story I was thrilled. We talk often, and I knew she'd get what the story was about, and produce something great -- and she did.
I love this mix so much. First off, look at the cover art! When that picture of Mikey and Pete was posted Annemari said to me that it was obvious it was taken after something that happened in the story, and that immediately became my new personal canon. So, seeing the picture used in this way made me so happy. Plus, Chewie! If you don't read the story, just know he's important, so seeing him included gave me the biggest grin.
The back is just as detailed and lovely too. Mikey in his scrubs and Pete resting and again, Chewie. They're such lovely details, and I love that Annemari took the time to ensure such lovely looking and fitting covers.
Now, the mix itself. I'm always impressed with people who can create a mix that follows on to a story so seamlessly that you know exactly what song represents what part of a story. This mix does exactly that. Sitting listening I can easily match each song to parts of the story, and each one is perfect. The pacing is beautiful, and I couldn't have asked for a better mix.
