I've heard of people grumbling about FOB's new album as well as some massive eyerolls that happened when Patrick released his solo album. Being a fan doesn't mean that one has to automatically like or love everything a musician puts out. To me, all it means is that one is more willing to give a musician's new album a greater chance of liking it.

Case in point: I love LeATHERMOUTH and DeathSpells but Bloodnun (Frank's OTHER new band) is deffo a no go for me.

Though I totally understand a fan connecting a song or album to a particular time and place in their minds, it's no excuse for rudeness.
