It's been a busy few days so I'm behind in the challenges. I'm going out of order but the others will need actual thought. I don't tend to put my name in love memes these days, but it's snowflake time, so...

In fact, I always enjoy your posts. Even on the most frustrating and saddest subjects you have such strength and a sense of humour, and I'm not at all surprised that you seem to have collected most of LJ and quite a lot of DW as friends.

It has been far too long since I've seen you. I really hope you can made it to Camp this year. Bring James! He is already aware of how weird we all are, and will survive the experience with his sanity enhanced.

The fact that the Lava Lamp story in pictures is still linked to on occasions continues to delight me. Hell, the whole Cramp thing delights me. Which is why I'll forever love popslash and the people in it.

I am forever glad(and grateful) that we became long-distance friends.

There have been many a time when you've helped me even if it was only to get me to smile when I hadn't in a while.

It's always(forever) good to seeyou post because I ALWAYS wonder how you are and if you're okay and since I'm not close(and I'm not Nightcrawler) I sadlt can't just pop in whenever. Since there's an ocean between here and there.

I realize I could write a manifesto on what your friendship means to me, but in the end it would be just a lot of ramble pointing at your awesomeness and how you've ALWAYS been in my corner no matter how ODD my stories seem to be or how rare the pairing.

I have been comment-stalking this post all day, because... well, it makes me get squinty-eyed with glee to see people talk about your awesomeness. Boundless awesome deserves boundless love!

Admitedly, I was also trying to figure out how to be very *specific* about what I love about you. This is kind of impossible. You know know that saying 'gem of the first water', that refers to the finest and most rare of gemstones, the ones that are of such quality that they are without price? That's you, Terri. You are the finest person I know. I have learned more about the grace and expansiveness of Love through your example than I have from any other person. Kind, generous, talented, ridiculous in all the best and most important ways [and Ways, of course ;D] - that's you. If you are a single star in the Net of Stars - and I doubt this, as you are very bright, too bright for lone star status - then you are the North Star.

T, I keep looking at this and trying to think how to reply. It's the kind of comment that I want to keep at hand always, the comment that will make me smile on the worst of days. It's the kind of comment I wish everyone could get, simply because then they'd feel how I do right now.

Just, thank you. So so very much. I have to admit to both smiling and being a little sniffly, and then laugh heart-eyeing at the last part, because that is one huge compliment indeed.

What I will say though, is I'm surrounded by such amazing people, people who allow me to grow, smile, laugh and learn daily. I treasure those people -- and you very much included -- and it's due to them I can be who I am.

So thank you for that, too. You enrich my life in ways you probably don't know.
