Feb. 10th, 2015 03:59 pmI'm sitting waiting for my FiL to drop off Corey's cards. I expected him around dinner time and now it's nearly five. Doesn't he know I have a book to finish reading soon!?
Though actually, I still have to make the tea yet, so he's got an hour or so yet I suppose.
Dad's already been. We shared grapes, Corey got to wander the garden with him measuring stuff. I got to stand in the garden with him making plans. I think if it wasn't for the fact James had the garage keys on him dad would have had us bringing the greenhouse around today ready to build. But thankfully the keys were with James so we plotted only, and this time did so in sunshine so it was pleasantly warmish.
For the maybe not so good. I think I've said before that Kayleigh is also having wls. She's many months ahead of me and today she went for her endoscopy, something Sunderland says you have to have to ensure your stomach is issue free. She opted to have the procedure without sedation as she'd heard if you did that you'd be given the operation date straight after, plus, she wanted to be able to drive home. But, once they got down there they found out she had tumours in her stomach. They've taken biopsies and have told her no way will she have her operation until they know what's going on. So as you can imagine she's really down at the moment.
She's had no stomach issues in the past, so hopefully it's nothing serious.
Now I must go prompt for no tags already.

Yes, prompt for no tags! If I am doing it, you should too!

Date: 2015-02-10 05:54 pm (UTC)Kayleigh's really disappointed, but what made me laugh is despite having 6 biopsies taken her post on FB was all about how the nurse stroking her head had rubbed her eyebrow off.
I've prompted! And now I'm going in the bath to face the cliff-hanger of DOOM!

Date: 2015-02-10 06:17 pm (UTC)I love the image of you guys planning & plotting out your garden - it's nice your dad has something to keep him busy (and how nice that it benefits you)

Date: 2015-02-10 07:12 pm (UTC)Dad is loving the garden plotting right now. Though I'm going to have to move the bench back to where it can be used because we're putting in some big chunks of time out there.

Date: 2015-02-10 08:47 pm (UTC)That sounds very scary. I really hope it isn't anything serious. I'm sending lots of good thoughts Kayleigh's way.
I see from the comments that you managed to leave those prompts finally, go you!

Date: 2015-02-11 09:58 am (UTC)Thank you. It is scary for her but hopefully it's nothing.
I did. They're really lame prompts but at least they're done.

Date: 2015-02-11 09:55 am (UTC)Dad is having a ball with his garden planning. He keeps adding on new things and is already talking about sunny seating areas and many more vegetable plots and raised beds.
