I'm just home from going to see Mad Max, and oh my goodness, what an incredible film. I enjoyed every moment of it, and if I could, I would have turned around and gone and watched it all over again.

Coming out of the cinema we saw Corey had phoned, and it seemed while we were gone the hosepipe had exploded somehow, the end shooting off, and in a case of bad luck, the end landed next to the back door instead of any of the other multiple places the water would have harmlessly drained away in the garden.

Thankfully Corey got home from college just in time to stop the water reaching the hallway, and had moped up the kitchen. He also soundly told James off, telling him from now on he has to ensure the garden tap is properly turned off when he's finished using it.

I got my bbb posting date and it's lovely knowing everything is in hand and no frantic scrambling will have to happen to get things finished.

Now though, I need to post at mwd and then start to get settled down for the night. No doubt I'll be going to bed with the sound of drums in my head.

I have got to see that film. I keep hearing such positive reactions!

Oh noes on the hosepipe! Good on Corey for doing damage containment and mopping, well done. Exploding hosepipes, what will they think of next.

I've heard Mad Max is great. I plan on trying to see it tomorrow if I have the funds.

EPPPPP ATTACK OF THE EXPLODY HOSEPIPE. Thankfully, everything was saved by Corey :)

dude you don't have terrible timing.

I mean it's an action movie with dystopic AND post Apoc leanings SO it's def something I'd go see as soon as possible.

and no, no they shouldn't because WHYYY YOU DO THIS HOSEPIPE?? WHYYY???

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. It seems everyone - even the critics :-) - are loving the new Mad Max film.

Eeeep! I didn't even know hosepipes could explode. It's a good thing Corey got home in time to stop any serious flooding. (I bet he felt like a grownup, getting to lecture his dad ;-)
