Corey got word he's got his second choice accommodation this morning. He's quite happy with that and is planning on moving in the 10th of next month ready for freshers week. Now it's a case of working out what he actually has to take and juggle three sets of grandparents who want to help kit him out.

He's not moving far at all, just to Northumbria. In fact, the place he's staying and studying is pretty much only five minutes more of a journey than the one he's been taking to college. We did talk about him staying home and commuting, but I think staying in halls is something he should try, and Corey agrees.

If it was left to mam he'd never get through the door of his room. For some reason she doesn't like the idea of him sharing a microwave in the shared kitchen so has said she's going to buy him one for his room. Which I doubt would be allowed, and even if it was, there's no room to keep one.
