I feel much happier today. I think I just needed to get that day of dropping Corey off for the first time over with. And have a good sleep as the time going up to that had been a bit hectic and emotion heavy.

Other happy things. Our washer broke down the day before Corey left -- which meant we had to do a load up mam's house. The man came to fix it yesterday, and we were expecting a hefty bill. It turns out to be a really easy fix and all he wanted was the petrol money for the call. So that was fantastic.

After really heavy day of rain, the sun has came out and we have blue skies. It's like two different days.

There's a 99% chance Kayleigh will be getting a house next week. This means no more constant calls from mam complaining about Kayleigh's cats, about Kayleigh's laundry, about Kayleigh's food in the fridge. Of course she'll find something else to complain about, but right now the thought of no more cat calls is amazing.

The photos from Gerard's show where so many people in the audience had happy birthday, Mikey banners, and Gerard posted 3 photos of that. Never stop loving your bro so much, Gerard. Talking of which, lovely birthday tweets to Mikey from Gerard and Pete made my days. There were other fantastic ones too of course, but those stood out. As does the fact Kristin seems to get along fabulously with Christa and Ray.

I've read my first bbb of this wave and it was fantastic. Model Mikey, Frank/Mikey by gorgeousnerd, really, there was no chance I wouldn't like it really. I do recommend it a lot. Halcyon.

And to end on a very small gripe. I've just been on tumblr and saw someone post the big picture of my icon and say how it's Frank teaching Gerard guitar and looking at him with hearts in his eyes. Yet again, it's Mikey, people! Mikey. It's not hard.

I got so much sleep. I was in bed just after nine and asleep not long after that. But yeah, the washing machine being repairable was such a relief.

What story did you tab and did you read it? I've Night's tabbed and that one based on the Outsiders. I'm just glad they said they've given it a happier ending than the actual movie.

I KNOW! I don't get it because it's something I've seen over and over. All I can think is they're killjoy era fans who think as him as a blond. Or more likely, as you say, blind.

I'd the record store AU by dear_monday tabbed and I finished reading it just now. It was so much fun! And now I have the addiction one with Grant tabbed. It seems pretty heavy though so I don't know when I'll get around to reading it.

The first day of many things is the hardest, I think. Glad it's not weighing on you as much anymore! And yay for the repair expense not being as bad as feared, and I will keep my fingers crossed for Kayleigh!

I was so relieved at the easy fix. I was expecting the worst but thankfully got the best.
