Happy Christmas eve!

I doubt I'll have time to post tomorrow so I want to wish a very happy Christmas to anyone that celebrates.

Kayleigh and mam was supposed to be coming to ours tomorrow but mam's had a fight with both me and Kayleigh so I suspect no one will turn up. But that's fine, Corey and James will be here and all the food will be eaten eventually.

James will be finished work in around an hour, and we'll have a takeaway when he comes home and watch Christmas tv and have to get up far too early in the morning, but who cares, it'll be Christmas.

To end, KC asked to see Christmas trees on instagram, and this was mine a few hours ago, and of course, festive Dino

The fighting sucked. I thought it had been sorted last night because Kayleigh made the first move and said sorry to mam and that she hated fighting with her. Then this morning mam sent a load of woe is me my daughter sucks messages to one of Kayleigh's friends on FB. It's like she can never leave well enough alone.

YAY you! Enjoy your time off. James was in at 7 today so he can finish at one. That 5am start was brutal.

Dino is the best! He's supposed to hang on the tree too but I decided he needed pride of place instead.

That sucks about the fighting, but as you say, you and James and Corey will be there and having a good time and that's what counts.

The fighting was horrible, probably the worst Christmas eve day I've had. But, the evening was nice. Now I'm just waiting for James to get home from work and Corey to wake up.

Yep, it remains the tackiest *g* We actually have a real tree this year, too. They were selling them off for £2 at a garden centre and somehow one ended up in the back of the car. That's in the hallway and looks a bit more traditional.

I love parsnips, we're going to have them roasted with some seasoning over the top. Simple but oh so good.

Ah, I see, that tree just appeared in the back of your car. You better take care with trees in the future, next time they might steal the whole car ;-)

We tried out a new recipe (we always try at least one new thing every Yule) were you broiled them with some fresh-squeezed orange juice, a touch of cinnamon, and a little sugar and it was fantastic!

belatedly, Happy Christmas! As my friend said when I tested her about our family drama - 'tis the season, I guess. Still - I'm sorry that you had to deal with that, and I hope you and James and Korey had a good day anyway.

We did have a good day. The drama was horrible at the time but I wasn't about to let it ruin Christmas completely.
