We took the kidlet back to uni on Friday. Unlike his first term I didn't want to cry all over him when leaving. Admittedly I did have a pang, but no tears were shed. I'd love some of his energy, though. At the last minute he went out Thursday night, going back to his uni flat at 4am, came home at dinner time the next day, packed all his gear, we drove him to Newcastle, left him around 5, and he was going out again an hour later, then was going out again last night.

Oh, to be young again.

I've been catching up on DW today, LJ soon then I have comments to reply to. Tomorrow I'm going to have another look at my picfor1000 picture prompt and have a think about what I'm going to write. I do have an idea wanting to take shape, but it may be a little too much like something I've written before. I'll just think on it a bit more I guess.

I think I'll also upload the snowflake ficlets I wrote at some point tomorrow. I've got an ongoing bandom ficlet thing on Ao3 and it warns that the ficlets have been written fast and haven't been beta read, so quality could be dubious. So the snowflake ficlets would fit in perfectly there.

I wish I knew where he gets his energy from. He's also very much a night owl while I'm not at all. When he was home for Christmas he was up for hours after me.

OMG, even when I was young, I needed sleep, I was always envious of those people who could go-go-go. Tell him to enjoy it while it lasts, just to get the eyeroll back. Ahahahaha.

I think I had all of a year or so I could go-go-go, then old age set in and I needed my sleep. I'm sure he's enjoying himself, and I'd totally get an eyeroll back if I told him to do so *g*

But, he's doing well, enjoying himself and learning. I can't wish for anything else.
