Stupid Nick Carter. Making me research him and turning into a pervy old woman who crushes on jailbait. Plus he's blond, and I just don't go for blonds, look at all my men. Brennan, Blair, Kevin, Chris, they're all dark haired ( okay Tom was blond, sorta, but lets not split hairs ) The point is I don't lust after blond haired, blue eyed men, I just don't. Hear that Nick Carter?! And just because you turned from a pretty smiling shining piece of jailbait into a sexy inked up man doesn't mean you can invade my thoughts like this.

Also, Corey seems to think I'm a huge fan of Busted. Which I'm not btw. He knows all about my fannish side, well not all obviously but enough to know I'm a fan. In fact he was almost as excited as me when we managed to tape The Fairly Odd parents. He knows everyone I like, better than James even. Once I asked James who he thought I liked on an Nsync poster, he pointed at JC, then Justin then Lance at which point Corey said it's Chris silly *g* Anyway, Busted. Every time an advert for Busted's new CD comes on he shouts so I can come and watch, because he thinks I want to see. Somehow I've an idea what he might get for my Christmas present this year.

I'm glad you understand as I really don't know where this is coming from. I've always stuck to one type of man, dark hair and eyes just make me drool. Blonds just don't do anything for me. Then I started writing about Nick and started lusting after him too.

LOL, I've just been there. That review was perfect, it made me feel happy just reading it.

I wonder if that's the missing link here? That Nick isn't all body obsessed and doesn't have to be the best at everything as long as he's making music. He sounds a lot like Chris when you say it like that.

And now I have to go find Chris/Nick fic, because I'm weak.

It's funny you say that. My friend quiet000001 and I wrote Chris/Nick after that, quite a long one, because it felt so right to both of us. There's a strong similarity. I know a lot of Chris/Nick came out at the same time.

It was a shame! I loved that story. Chris went to see Nick's show while he was traveling around in his RV and ended up driving Nick to the rest of his dates, trailed by Nick's entourage. There was much yummy sex and contact lenses and glasses and guitarplaying and Super Nintendo and tacos and crumbs in bed and diner food and kissing.

If it helps me "get into character" in a story, I sneak in a past relationship with the pairing I really want to write. Like, say I'm supposed to do JoeC and I don't like it, but I do like TrickC. I start the story out with TrickC and break them up, or have JC flashing back to happy TrickC history while he's falling for Joey. Gets me in the mood to write.

(For the record, I love both JoeC and TrickC. *grins*)
