Corey had a good sleep and is still doing fine today. Thank goodness. Before he left for work James told me he'd peeped in Corey's bedroom and he was sleeping on his back at the time, and I should check later to make sure he'd moved. Which he had, so all was okay.

Which means I can catch up on the days before that.

On Friday we took my nephew to the railway museum at York. He's been having some behavioural problems lately so I wasn't sure what kind of a day we'd have, but he was good as gold. Which isn't surprising I guess as he had one to one attention from me and James all day while at home he's just one of four kids, including a baby and toddler and my SiLs attention can only stretch so much.

So we looked at trains, had a very over priced dinner, looked at more trains, went outside to the viewing platform where you could watch actual trains go past. Looked at more trains. Walked loads, sat and froze outside when James took Andrew on the mini train, looked at more trains, read about trains, went on trains. Andrew was in his element.

Linking to instagram pictures. James and Andrew checking out a posh train, freezing outside while they went on the small train, having a quick rest inside the bullet train.

On Saturday we decided to have a cinema day as James finally got the unlimited card. First we went to see Eddie the Eagle, which was brilliant and very funny. Then went for a walk around Metrocentre before going to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, which was also very funny.

A positive story from then. Both times we went in the normal seats. The first movie, in a it's a small world moment, we were directly sat behind our neighbours in a row with only two seats as it was next to the way in. The second movie we were in a longer row, and not thinking, I let James have the aisle seat and I sat a seat in, and then someone came to sit next to me. That was always my nightmare because of fitting issues and taking up too much of a strangers space, but all was fine. He even managed to get in and out twice without stamping on my feet unlike the idiots from the other day.

And James bought me this dress. Excuse my stupid face, I wasn't expecting the photo to be taken. I'd called in to look at clothes on a whim while we walked around the Metrocentre. I like dresses and liked the look of that one, but never expected to actually buy it because it's so different to what I normally wear, plus, more expensive. But when I came out to show James he insisted I had to get it, and when I said no he just said he was going to buy it anyway. So I have this dress but have no idea when I'll actually wear it. Plus, it really should have bare legs, but as that isn't going to happen I think I'm going to look for some trousers that aren't as wide as I normally wear, but not so small that they cling.

Sunday was the usual visit to nanna's, which lasted much longer than usual as her boiler had gone off so we stayed until the repairman had been, and then had to dash off and do our grocery shopping in the hour the shops were still open.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. I bought a fit bit a few weeks ago and over the weekend I got my first 'you've walked the equivalent of a marathon' badge. I know some people could probably do that in days, but I'm very proud of my first badge, even if it took a few weeks to get there.
