We brought the rest of Corey's stuff from uni yesterday. Of course when we got home he remembered he'd left all his cutlery and plates behind. He could go back I guess but by the end of term he only had 1 big and 2 side plates left and the cutlery was just a very cheap set, so he's leaving them. Though if other students do the same he may find some left behind when he goes for his flat cleaning job next week.

Nanna was getting her extra stair rails fitted today, so hopefully she'll be able to get up the stairs on her own again. I don't mind going up to help her to bed every night but obviously it's better if she has that independence, plus, when James is at work it means my uncle has a 30 minute trip to take over, which obviously isn't ideal.

It's been a beautiful day today. I've got things done in the house, tidied the garden a little, dried two loads of washing on the line and now it's time for bath and a book. Then later, when the sun is lower, I'll go and water and feed all the plants.

GoT. What an amazing episode that last ep was. But now I have worries about the last one and how they'll end this season.

I got a h/c bingo card! Yes, I suck at filling them. Yes, I never actually post any fills to the comm that I do write. But I'm a sucker for that community and suspect I'll dabble in The Musketeers again and maybe if inspiration strikes, some bandom.

I know students often leave a ton of stuff behind in halls because they just can't carry it home, so there's a fair chance.

Fingers crossed the new stair rails do the trick

It's amazing what things you AMASS when you're at university. It's mind boggling. Senior year I had to roll up a twin mattress with a bungee cord and slide it into the car's backseat just to transport it.

I hope the stair rails help

<3

also, H/C BINGO....I feel like I NEED a card...maybe I'll write a little that way.. Maybe, I'll take prompts and fail at that.

Whenever I've moved, I end up O_O at the amount of stuff I can accumulate (after regular things like clothing and books).

Yays for the rails' installation at your nanna's. Having independence and mobility are things that become crucial when people are elderly. It'll be a great relief to you and your uncle as well, of course.

It was gorgeously overcast and rainy in my corner of the world for about two days. Now it's back to hellishly sunny and humid. :|

GoT knocked it OUT of the park with episode 9 in an already great season. I'm not worried or angsty about the season finale. My one hope is that we get the completion of the Tower of Joy scene!

I can imagine Corey'll find lots of useful stuff people haven't bothered to take with them.

I'm keeping everything crossed your nanna's extra stair rails will be just the thing she needs.

Yesterday it rained but today's been sunny and warm here too. I spent the afternoon knitting on the balcony while Lancecat snoozed. It was marvelous!

*giggles* You and bingo cards is like sperrywink and Holiday challenges, you just can't say no :-)
