turpsIt was my dad's birthday yesterday, so another first over with. I thought about him often, and when we went for a ride to the beach Hungry Eyes, one of the songs from the funeral came on, so some tears were shed then.
It goes without saying I still miss him loads.
I'm off to the hospital soon. I check in today and have my op tomorrow, hopefully getting home on Thursday. I'm nervous but I'm still sure this is the right thing to do.
