It's so cold today, and I really should go put the radiators on, but they're timed to come on soon anyway, so I'll just stop here. Laziness, thy name is Terri.

I'm waiting for the tv repairman to come sometime today. The TV is still watchable but really dark with this weird effect where the screen darkens as things move onscreen. I'm hoping that it can be fixed today but know that I'm deluding myself. It's annoying as I want to watch more QAF and there's no point. I could watch upstairs in my bedroom but if I did that I'd fall asleep on the bed.

So instead I'm sitting eating pickled onions, surfing LJ and freezing my ass off. Because, yes my life is that exciting *g*

See I have no idea who this guy is. My knowledge at comic characters stops at X-Men.

Have to admit that I'm surprised that we ended up the same character, but should I be insulted that you're disturbed about sharing with me ;)

lol, nah my disturbance is more like your surprise, just that we ended up with the same one. And I _do_ know who these characters are; he's not the one I would have thought I'd get. On the other hand, if that just goes to show that I have things in common with _you_, I'll take that as an extreme compliment!

Martian Manhunter (his "official" comic name; I think they _only_ call him J'onn J'onzz on the show) is the last Martian alive, and ended up on Earth, in various ways depending on which canon you follow, TV or several comic eras. He can phase like Jesse, shapeshift like Mystique or even into tedrils, etc, fly, is pretty strong, and has some telepathic ability. He's got the whole "I'm an alien in a strange land I don't understand; I'm the lonely last of my kind" angst going on, but he's also a hero at heart.
