I'm delaying day three of the snowflake challenge as it's for recs, and I want to use that for the MTYG stories, which I'm getting close to finishing.

So, hopefully tomorrow.

Today I've been at A&E with James. Two night ago he fell in the kitchen, I picked him up and he said his finger was hurting, but couldn't go to the walk-in/A&E until today as he was at work. A very busy time at work so as he was coping fine he waited to go in. Turns out he has broken it, so we're back tomorrow to see someone at the fracture clinic. On the plus side, it's not his good hand, on the minus, as it is the hand he had straightened it could be a little bit more complicated. However, I do think he'll just be told to keep it strapped up and rest it as much as possible.

I really hope so, anyway. *fingers crossed*

Tonight though, I have a headache and I'm tired and I want to finish reading fic and check out the recs that are being posted. But what I will do is go chill on the couch under my blanket -- mam bought me a mermaid tail blanket for Christmas. I thought it was weird at first but it's surprisingly warm and practical as the tail bit isn't enclosed. Maybe watch some more Lucifer, and an early night for sure.

I hope James' finger is an easy fix and heals quickly, and that you are able to rest and relax and feel better soon! I recommend couch, blankie, fic and TV

You know, I should read fic on the couch. I've got an ipad after all but have got into the habit of reading on the desktop.

my laptop is on a little rolling table, so I can use it whilst on the couch - and I use a tablet in bed. wifi is a glorious thing!

He needs to have his finger strapped for a month, but that's a small thing so all is well.

The mermaid tail blankets are very comfy and cozy, and also look pretty great.
