Snowflake Challenge day 9

It was an interesting night last night. sperrywink emailed asking if I could write a Musketeers ficlet for fandom_stocking, so I said yes. A few hours later I had something nearly 1k long and already posted at the collection at A03. I never do stuff like that. I need beta readers and time, but last night I just wrote and posted and it was a lot of fun. I know no one here is a fan, but I'll still throw out a link. Sky Comes Falling Down.

Today it was my Sils birthday, so we quickly called there then we headed to the eye infirmary as within a few hours my eye had gone really blood shot, and not in a vein like way, just patches of red. I saw the nurse and she said it's nothing serious, more like an eye bruise and it's likely to travel and last a week or so, so I'm expecting to wake up with a demon eye in the morning.

And with that unsettling thought. Snowflake!

Yep. It's not often I'm online that late, but I was caught up in writing and posting. It was a rush.

I didn't know about eye bruises either. She gave me a leaflet and apparently they can be caused by trauma, being hit etc, or something as simple as a cough or sneeze, which is an unsettling fact to know. Thankfully it's almost gone now, but looked weird for a while.

It is, yes. I didn't know such things could happen, and the phrase eye bruise makes me cringe. Thankfully I didn't get a full demon eye, but did have a new red ring around the iris for a bit. That looked weird.

i'm excited to read the killjoys fic! i never quite got into the universe as some people did (though i 110% loved the aesthetic)--but i love everyone's takes on it.

The Killjoys universe is so rich to write and create in. I really enjoy reading fic set in the verse, and how everyone spins their own take on the central themes.
