I once dated someone who tried to convince me there's no such thing as blueberries. (They'd never seen a fresh one, apparently -- ??? -- and believed that blueberry-FLAVORED things, like popsicles or whatever, were just, like, flights of fancy on the parts of food manufacturers, based on nothing.) I feel your pain.
