I suspected there would be a rec challenge for Snowflake and always planned to use it for bandom holidays recs. I just didn't expect it so soon. But no worries, I've checked them all out now. And what a fantastic bunch of fannish works. Kudos to everyone taking part. I enjoyed them all, but the below are my favourites.



Of course I'll start with the one written for me, which is Better Than Him, Mikey/Gerard/Ray and is just lovely. A03 won't let me share it like the others for some reason, maybe because it's for me. I don't know, the archive is a strange thing at times. Just know, I appreciate the writer of this loads for writing something specifically for me ♥

Oh wow, I’ve not had a chance to read them all yet, so I’m impressed that you’ve managed to do so, naturally they’re all already on my to read list but the ones I have read I’ve liked so far.

I got into a groove yesterday and just read away. I do try and read and feed all exchange stories, and so often it leads to me enjoying stories that otherwise I would have passed by.

That’s awesome! Since it’s my first time (and there’s 16 for me to read. I wanted to do the same and some so far are ones I’d not usually read and I’ve liked them too. I meant to read more then ended up reading a fic I got recced.... which ended up being so long

Your artwork is amazing. I'm so impressed with the creator. And I know I keep mentioning it but the 'and drummer' thing kills me still.

I'm surprised you're having time to do anything but write fandom stocking fills atm. And well, the stories aren't going anywhere. I actually plan on attempting a stocking fill myself later. See if my writing enthusiasm has lasted into the new year.

I'm not sure if any stand out as must-reads for you. But I remain impressed with the variety of works. Oh, there's a Gerard and Bert art piece. That's good.
