I pulled up the remaining tomato plants today and tidied the greenhouse a bit. It was sad seeing them go, like the last bit of summer going into the bin, but, they'd provided tomatoes for months and their journey was now over. I need to wash down the greenhouse tomorrow and finish getting it ready for winter. I would have done it today but it'll be a dirty job and Kayleigh was supposed to be popping in. In the end, she didn't so I could have done it, but oh well, waiting a day won't hurt.

Other than that I did get out for a walk and timed things badly doing so as it started raining as soon as I walked out the door. I've also written a big chunk of my no tags story and should get it finished tomorrow, which is fantastic as it's not putting too much pressure time-wise on my beta.

Amazingly I'm being productive with Christmas gifts and got word that some I've ordered for James have been dispatched. He's into Banksy right now so I've ordered him the canvas of the male and female versions of kissing cops. He's previously mentioned they'd look good on the landing, but he's got no idea I actually found and ordered them. Now, I just have to hide the things until Christmas.

I enjoyed the Strictly results show last night, with the second pro dance attracting my attention. I didn't really take that much notice of Graziano last season with him going out so early, plus, AJ has mainly been my focus, despite him having the personality of a plank. But, I started to follow Graz on insta over the summer and really enjoyed his posts, and as the show progressed, liked how he never complained about being benched as a main pro, and of course, his friendship/bromance with Johannes which now includes them dancing together on the show last night. If that's something you're interested in, you can see part of the dance here.

Good luck sorting it all out! We’ve not had much luck with our tomatoes sadly

Oh no! I’ve had walks like that! And nice! I need to decide which prompt I’m using so I might just coin flip

wow, look at you getting a jump on the Xmas shopping! good going. I've always loved the kissing cops, but didn't even know there was a female version.

I should look and see if cards/prints are available in the US as I wouldn't mind having one on my wall as well

I bet James will be made very happy by those prints - what a great present!

I did find some available in the US, so have saved the URL for later, when I have a bit more cash

Ahead on writing AND presents? You're a rock star!

Respect to the tomato plants, sounds like they had a full and productive life.

I'm impressed at all that productivity! Pulling up tomato plants AND writing? Dang, T.!!!

Something about the idea of you hiding James' presents for the next month and a half is LOLarious to me.

Your tomato plants lasted a long time, at least by Swedish reckoning. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone keeping them later than early October here. I guess things are differently in England? Washing down the greenhouse sounds like hard and dirty work. I hope it went well and that you now have a clean and tidy greenhouse just waiting for spring!

I've also tried being proactive with Yule stuff this year. Lots of good luck to us both! :-)
